Story: 6/10
The story involves 3 different places in time with a large cast because of this the story is a confusing jumble that may require a rewatch to understand.

Characters: 10/10
A fantastically varied selection of instantly interesting characters. From Ladd Ruso to Jacuzi Splot, you are bound to find several to root for! Isaac and Miria ROCK!

Art/animation: 9/10
Whilst it isn't a major draw point the anime looks fine. Everything looks smart without distracting from the shows real draw. The characters.

Voice acting, music rating: 9/10
The music score is perfect for the time period of this anime. You will find yourself humming the theme tune long after watching the show. The voice actors are great both in the original and in the dub. I kinda prefer the dub in this case because they can emulate the accent.

Overall: 8.5/10

Baccano has three flaws.

1. It spoils itself - In the very first episode you allready can conclude who will survive
2. Its confusing as hell - I think there are like between 5-10 time jumps in every episode - so If you dont have the time to watch Baccano within a week or so you really forget what happened and cant keep up with the stories.
3. Over the top violence and Characters. The violence in Baccano makes Elfen Lied look like like Sponge bob - also this one murderer guy is just too good - people in other animes need superpowers to be as good as him.

So I would give it a 4 out of 5 points

Release date- July 2007
Production Company- Aniplex
Genre- Action, Supernatural

Baccano! is a 13 episode series (+3 additional episodes) that follows the events of a number of people between 1930-1932 and 1711 as a train gets hijacked, a elixir to immortality is created and a girl desperately searches for her missing brother. Oh and the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning...so yeah..

Characters-

Baccano! is a show with a very large cast and no true main characters. Although it may seem impossible to cover such a large cast in such a small span of episodes, the show actually does it very well. The characters are all well thought out and likeable which makes the show a pleasure to watch.
9/10*

Graphics and Animation-

The show itself is quite old but the animation is still good. Its definitely not the greatest animation ever but for its time it is a great piece of animation. The animation can seem somewhat sloppy at times but when the animation needs to be good, it's good. However it is clear that the animation is not the main topic but the amazing plot is.
8/10

Plot-

This is by far the best part of the show. Its plot is truly amazing, the way they manage to link everything together at the end is absolutely stunning. At first it may seem like the show is trying to do too much in the little time it is given but it manages to pack everything in nicely. The show may seem confusing at first and won't make much sense but once you finish all 13 episodes everything links together so well. The show is a piece of art and has one of the best plots of any anime.
10/10
Music and Sound-

The music is not as focused on as many other animes. It does a very good job adding to the drama or effect of the the scene. The sounds are accurate and well used and the start theme is great. The music itself is a great addition to the anime and makes the anime a lot better. The dub is perfect, the voices are well done. Props to the cast
9/10
Overall-

Overall this is one of the most amazing animes of all time. It grand plot and stellar characters combined with the amazing audio and great animation make this show a real treat. It is better to watch this anime in a short period of time as it keeps the plot points clearer in your head and makes the show easier to follow. The show always had me confused to the very end where it all linked together and became spectacular. If you watch the first few episodes and are really confused, don't worry, don't let is deter you, just keep watching it'll all make sense and it'll leave you wanting more.
