I refrain from using colors so as my posts remain visible for every color scheme. If I wanted to emphasize, I'd use bold, italics or some other formatting stuff. (And if I really had to create a lot of visual variety I'd use different type faces, just not colors.)

On another note, lol @ BBCode generators (and a while back, Shift-JIS) making it to AF. You guys reminded me of my days in anonymous textboards.

I don't like most coloured fonts, specially when you add bold and/or slant to it. I find it unnecessary.

Everyone so far has made an egregious error of assumption: that you can have text that is not colored. Silly AFers! The text always has a color, just not necessarily the theme default. Therefor, of the choices presented, I can answer the original question only with "Maybe".

However, I may rephrase the question more appropriately: Do you like text that is not the theme-default color?

Except it's not a color... It's a spectrum of 7 different colors. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Rainbow is not a color. -_- smh..

I don't really care, but I like colored text because its another way you can be creative on the internet. Plus its so pretty to look at.

I like coloured text as much as other races of text. After all, I'm not a textist. =P

Uhm no, seriously, for me it depends on background and whether or not the colour of the text is meaningful. My eyes are more sensitive to colour lightness than colour hue tho, so I'm more inclined to dislike the colour of certain text if it has the same lightness as its background. For example, I don't mind the default yellow text in this forum, but I wouldn't like it if it was on a white background since yellow comes very close to white on the lightness scale.

As for rainbow coloured text (and if that's whatchu meant all along), well I don't mind if you use it or not. For completion tho I'd change your avi to Nyan Cat and then it'd look more like part of a theme. =^w^=

I prefer colors that I can read. Dark colors on a dark background, and light on light are really super hard to read. Especially when it's getting harder for me to read on computer screens in my old age. :p
