Aw man, I used to constantly keep up with this show. I've been slacking! I've only seen the first 3 or so episodes of the series, when they were searching for the book. Have they found it yet?

It's a reboot, different story of course.

I loved the older Thundercats, of course I dont really think I was alive when it first aired >3> but when i was about 6 or 7 i remember watching it a lot. or maybe I was older than that. I can not remember...

Cheetara FTW. I really like the new concept of the show. But having Tygra and Lion-O as brothers threw me off a bit.

i think the old and new thundercats have their own merits. i guess i prefer the original:) i don't mind watching the new version, it's good.

So wait, in the new one the Thundercat main characters are still kids?

I do remember watching the origional series when I was little. But it's still aimed at the same saturday morning kiddies demographic right? With stuff like the bad guys not being much more effective at comic releif, nobody ever gets really hurt(or at least doesn't stay that way.) etc etc.

Yea, pretty much. It's all pre-leaving Thundara (sp?). Same target audience, but trying to sway the fans of the original towards it too.
