Instead of Senritsu, I hear something like Kinichi

Sounds like Kiritsu (規律 rules, order).

It's probably a play on words between the order found in music (i.e. 旋律 = melody) and the order or rules (規律) of "cause and effect" (因果); i.e. the physical rules that govern the universe.
