Best Fighting game battles you've been in?

For me it's always Arcana Heart 3 because I repeatively Clash in battles and it's so much fun, it's even better when you are giving it your all and the opponent and you start clashing with "supers". I would say the best for me was the battle between my Kamui and a friend's Kamui.
Don't you just love a good Fighting game fight?

It doesn't get much better than Super Street Fighter 4 or Capcom vs SNK 2 if you want good battles; those are two games that are interesting in that they're playable in all skill levels. They're as deep as you want them to be.


That being said, go play some Super Street Fighter 4 or Capcom vs SNK 2. Oh, and Third Strike.

Well,

1)Not many people have it, unless you got the rom illegally and play it online on GGPO.
2) The PSN/XBL version is not out yet, so you can't play that either.

whenever i think of fighting games, i miss arcades.
lemme tell ya kids (anyone that wasn't fortunate enough to be a part of the arcade generation), some of the most fun i ever had with fighting games was playing stuff like MK3,Tekken3, and Killer Instinct at the arcade with trash talking strangers in person.

although, the best battle ever, was a series of random fights at a strangers house.
ok, here's the story:

some friends and i used to play soulcalibur2 like it was out job. (i even placed 2nd and 3rd in a few tourneys)
anyways we are walking down the street to get some food (we lived in a college campus at the time)
as we our passing by one of the frat houses, we hear soulcalibur music BLASTING through the open windows. we see some guys on the front porch having a smoke, and we say "you guys playing soulcalibur in there?" they say "why you any good?" we reply "wanna see??" they say "come on in and get your @$$ whooped" we smile and go in.

i sh!t you not, there was like 30 people in there.
everybody looks at us, and the dudes from outside explain what's up. so they pass my buddie one of the controllers.

he then proceeds to whoop everyone! he wins like 15 games! (keep in mind that i was better than my friend at the game)
so everyone is like, why isn't your friend (me) playing??
my buddie says (and this was priceless) "you gotta get through me first to play him, he's much better than i am"........everyone in the room then looked at me like i was a gaming god or something, lol.

my friend finally lost on like his 21st match. then i came in and played like 30+ games and never lost. the entire room of strangers were floored.
oddly enough we made lots of new friends that night, and they told us to come back and play more with them another time.

it was (hands down) one of the best fighting game experiences i ever had :)

I was actually really surprised by how fun Mortal Kombat 9 was. It's, by far, one of the most tense, nerve-wracking fighters around.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 for me too, even though it lacks alot.
It`s for everyone and not just the hardcore player of these games.
Great music in it.

I'm not that much of a gamer, so my database of fighting games is very low, but I really have fun with the Naruto Ultimate Ninja games. My brother and I play them all the time!
