If you could visit a certain time period and place, What would you like to visit?

I'd like to visit the the era of the 1800's, Simply because things seemed a little more simpler back then.

i'd also say in the Europe because, When someone 'Challenged' your honor, you would have a duel to the death yer something of that manner. idk i found that to be interesting.

I would also like to meet Napoleon Bonaparte. and a few of the president's.... <.<;

I'd like to go the beginning of the Three Kingdom period in China which is around 184 A.D.
Seeing the famed generals and strategists in play would be something to see.

This, as well as the 1920's in the US.

I'm gonna go to 2090. I hope it's not post-historical. I'll probably catch a disease too.

The Victorian era in England!
Of course it's not like I was influenced by Alice in Wonderland and the various anime I watched.

At least all those people with 'Super AID' will be helpful.

Also, probably 70's Japan/80's America.

Either England or Japan in the Middle Ages. England had cool knights and stuff and Japan had those samurai dudes with those awesome curved katana blades (more epic weaponry than knight swords even).

Go back to Medieval times and be an outlaw. So long as I'm immune to all diseases. I'd hate to catch a disease in the Middle Ages.

And not forgetting the Prohibition era. Because who doesn't want to be a [potentially immortal] mobster?

Probably the Classical era (18th C) so I could meet my favorite composers *^* And see how much different music was like back then. Also, the Middle Ages as music wasn't as popular and I could pwn on an instrument that hadn't even been invented yet! >=D Oh, and I'd totally learn the lute.

What the heck? The classical era is between 800 BC and 500 AD.

i'll visit the Dawn of the New World to meet both Christopher Columbus and Amerigo Vespucci...
and maybe take a side-a-long trip with Ferdinand Magellan when he 'discovered' Philippines, so that i would met Lapu Lapu as well and learn what really happened....

and yeah, medieval England with all its knights and royal grandeur in the Feudal age...

though the Renaissance is also interesting, but ugh... i'll stick with Medieval...
Renaissance art and literature are also great...

Myself I'd be heading back to the Roman times at the height of their power, simply because I'd want to help them preserve the empire because if you think about it they were essentially the modern day in the ancient era and think about what the world would be like now had their know how of civilisation etc continued? I mean after the empire collapsed it took a few hundred years again to re-invent the toilet

I'd go back to the time of Jesus, to see his magic show. David Blaine and Criss Angel got nothin' on him.

China during the Tang dynasty, 1800s in England when Jack the Ripper walked in the streets of London and fear filled the city, 1920s-30s in China when the east and west meet once again in good and bad times. And also because of WWII.

In Japan during the Tokugawa shogunate.

And during the age of the dinosaurs millions of years ago.

Finally, about 10,000 years from now.

Europe during the middle ages and the Renaissance. I'd have to read some stuff and learn how to do things the old way, unless I could bring a gun along. With enough firepower I could become the Duke of somewhere. Maybe Normandy.

I think it'd be cool to be around with all the early scientists and artists and such as well. Maybe meet Machiavelli or Sartre.

Assuming I could travel more than once, I'd go back and see if I could find Jesus or Moses doing Biblical stuff and video tape it to return to the present with.

Then I'd probably go to the future and see how it compares to all our sci-fi. I'm not sure where I'd live if I was to live somewhere permanently. I would say medieval times, but then I'd have no video games and be oppressed by the Pope.

The opposite of this, If the Roman empire fell earlier then both Christianity and Islam wouldn't exist saving millions of lives. Plus i've always wanted to burn down an amphitheatre......
