I recently watched When They Cry and I was almost confused the whole time. It would start to make sense then stop then make sense again then stop. Then when you finally figure almost all of it out it throws another twist then cleans the majority of it up with on sentence. XD I loved the anime but I'm just curious who understood all of it and maybe provide a little discussion on it. XD

You mean, Higurashi?
Don't tell me you watched the dubbed version!?

Yes, and I did. XD I know the voice actors sucked. Even unbearable a lot of the time. But I do other things while I watch anime so it's difficult to read and search the web.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is also one of the animes that I've had a hard time watching :P But I've only watched 4 episodes, so I'm not sure whether I'll understand it all or not. ^_^

You do these things while watching anime!?REALLY!?
Are you INSANE!?

I command you to watch Higurashi again, with subs, one story arc a day in a row, in the evening/at night.
Make sure nothing disturbs you and no reading/browsing the web/wanking/talking/whatever.

Does it just make more sense in subs? XD And I meant read the subs. I don't read and watch anime. XD I just watch dubs because I'm lazy.

That way you ruin your experience.
I don't know how far you are in the series, but I recommend re watching it all with subs

No, I understand it. XD There are a few parts that I do admit are a little shady to me but I was curious if anyone else felt like that at the end of it all.

I remember getting really confused by Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, too, until I got to the last season, when things finally started to make sense.

Then there's Umineko no Naku Koro ni, which is less chaotic, but still slightly confusing.

There are two seasons, Higurashi and Higurashi Kai.

Higurashi Rei is just a bunch of OVAs that, as far as I'm concreted, could very well not exist at all.

Then I will watch that.. XD That'll probably help a bit. XD

On my opinion of Higurashi, I think Rika is the most main character in whole show, she was talking about relationship with Hainiryuun. Anyway, you should read the manga so that would make sense, I hope.

Can someone pm or use a spoiler box to tell me how it all ties in? I'm honestly too confused to keep track of anything. And I'm watching the subbed
