I am looking for this anime in which a group of girls for one reason or another are trapped in some alt dimension or something, and are for some reason forced to kill eachother in weird ways over and over again (they come back to life after) Any idea what it's called?

It's not BRS as that show is not gruesome and they never kill each other nor do they do it over and over again. Plus there are only 2 girls not a group. ^^;

I just started watching Higurashi. It's so laughably bad, but good at the same time. I'm only on episode two, and I haven't seen any actual gore, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed

If it is Higurashi that you're thinking of, I love it. I finished it today and wow was it good. I absolutely love Rika and Rena. Every arc was uniquely brilliant.
