First off let me state why I didn't rate its graphics. Obviously it doesn't have the best of graphics but that is NOT what make a game. With that said on with the review.

In the world of Minecraft the world is LITERALLY yours to make. Build and destroy blocks, create new ones to make the fort of your dreams. This game has no real goal except for survival. The player is started off in a randomly generated world having to gather materials and build shelter to survive the first night from evil mobs. No not mobs like from Chicago. Mobs are what the creature in the game are called. The player must craft equipment from materials found in the world from wood, stone and numerous other materials.

The game isn't limited to what the developers put on there. There is a humungous amount of mods available for the game on the Minecraft forums. Things like pokeballs, Airplanes, and even portal guns can be found as a mod for minecraft. There are also texture packs available for the game to further personalize your gaming experience.

The game may only be in its beta stage but its already an amazing game with amazing possibilities.

I enjoy playing MineCraft on a server my friends and me have. We've built many castles, houses, walkways, etc.... Well here's a video we made =)

This was made by my friend Kendal who is a big help in our world :P

There's really no down-side to the game. it's for creative minds who are willing to think outside of the box and have fun.

I personally found Minecraft very boring. It's building mechanics are not nearly as good as Garry's Mod's. There's just blocks. My younger brother loves the game, and he told me to start "redstoning", which is apparently building contraptions with "redstone". That doesn't seem all too much fun either.

The main difference between the two is that in Minecraft you're supposed to explore and fight in order to find and create what you want to build. It's an adventure/sandbox-type game.

Redstone is used to create 'circuits', pretty much identical to electronic circuits. There are toggles, gates (AND, OR, XOR, etc) and all sorts. I never understood Redstone but it's possible to create really elaborate things like a working safe lock and even a fully-working LED clock. Why would you build a huge LED clock? Video games, that's why.

The most complicated thing I built was an underground two-way hidden entrance to my mines. I'd also recommend your brother show you some gameplay of some Minecraft mods, such as Industrialcraft or the Twilight Forest. They add a lot more things you can do, and the Twilight Forest has a lot of massive dungeons and bosses like out of an RPG game.

Yes.I enjoy playing Minecraft.Like its name, this game is very crafty. As for me,I always build my house with dirts.Ha ha.

And now, there are villages included in Minecraft new version. But villagers are useless. They can't fight monsters. But mountains are high and trees are so tall in this version.

Playing with friends via Server is only so exciting, though. The graphic is not very good but we can find a lot of fun with friends.
