Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) and Marvel Entertainment, LLC today announced Spider-Man™: Edge of Time, where Spider-Man faces one of his greatest challenges ever - saving Spider-Man. Developed by Activision-owned studio Beenox, Spider-Man: Edge of Time challenges the player to take on the roles of both classic Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 to correct a timestream gone awry and prevent a catastrophic future brought on by the early and untimely death of Peter Parker.

It looks like Beenox, the developers of Shattered Dimensions is handling this game. That's good news as they were the first developers who got the right. And with that poster cover, it looks like it's gonna be phenomenal.

You know, I actually haven't played a Spider-Man game ever since the Ultimate Spider-Man back for the PS2 in what..2005? It's been so long I can't even remember ><

I'll definitely have to at least try this at some point. It's renewed my interest in the series, at least.

Yeah, and if you want to play a game that it's close to the series, then you should really pick up Shattered Dimensions. =3 Spiderman 2099 is epic.

I was impressed with the gameplay they showed of EoT at E3. Definitely going to at least rent it when it comes out.
