I agree with the analyst who believes that fewer companies in competition will only lead to higher prices. As a current at&t customer I only stand to gain better reception, not that T-moblie was known for their reception lol

This is great for those on AT&T. Not only will they gain a frack-ton of towers and from that lots of 2G bandwidth for making calls that don't drop. They (AT&T) will use T-mo's AWS band for their LTE rollout giving them a huge advantage over Verizon and making congress happy with that whole idea bout having rural areas covered by highspeed.

For T-mo customers.... this sucks. Won't take long for AT&T to raise our rates. When i was on AT&T I was paying almost $180 a month. For BETTER service (e.g. unlimited international SMS for two lines at $20 vs. AT&T's 100 international SMS for $10 a line) i pay only $120. I also get 1500 minutes instead of 800 or whatever it was before.

Going to be a sad day.

AT&T customer here. =3
