I used to have a sega gamegear that I received for Christmas the year it came out, but I lost it. Then, I got a SNES and a N64 for Christmas the years they came out, but sold them. So now, I guess my "oldest" system is the gamecube, which I got in 2003.

I used to also have a 1989 old-school gameboy, but got rid of it, so now I just have a Gamecube, GBAsp, and a NDSi XL.

In terms of ownership, our PS1. But we gave it to our Uncle so it's prolly our PS2.
In terms of date released, my GBA SP.

I have an Atari (with legit Space Invaders cartridge) somewhere in my cupboard. Unfortunately I lack an aerial and joystick now so it's unusable.

Oldest working console I have is my Sega Mega Drive. Still works, still use it - still play Sonic 3 & Knuckles on it. God knows how the controllers still work (they're trashed).

O SNAP SUMINASEN - I MEANT TO SAY SEGA GENESIS. SORRY. EL OH EL.

Well, the Atari 2600. But I had to share it with my brother. The first console I bought myself was a Game Boy, about 1-2 years before the GBA came out.

My oldest is the NES which was still working the last time I checked (the power supply got nabbed for use on a SNES) although I think I need to get the cartridge connector replaced (along with a new power supply).

An NES. Although it was originally the family's (I was really young.), I played it when I was really young but it got put away and when we brought it back down it no longer worked. =(

My parents own an Atari of some kind, too.
