I don't get why everyone hates Valentine's Day. It's one of the most successful marketing campaigns ever. I love it.
Sure, it's also a day to go the extra mile for the one you love, but the way I really see it, is it's a day for everyone to make you feel guilty for not getting them something. Guilty enough to actually go out and get them something. Remember, if you don't get someone something for Valentine's Day, you obviously don't care about them in the least. So go out and spend all of your money on things for your loved ones... or you will be forever alone.
But seriously, I'm such a product of Corporate America that I really do love Valentine's Day because of how commercial it is. I couldn't care less about the whole love aspect of it.
