Favorite Color

So, what's your favorite color?


Everyone has one. You can pick red, green, or anything in between. The human mind is capable of distinguishing about 10 million different colors. Out of all those, which is your favorite?

Okay, nobody expects you to pick from the 10 millions colors out there you can choose from, but which of the above in the poll do you like best? For some inspiration, I've composed an image with various shades of colors extracted from Wikipedia. You can find the imageshack link below.


If anything, my favorite color has to be blue. I find blue's effects to be calm, yet pronounced. While dark blues can be nice, I prefer lighter variations of the color. I have an appeal for orange, which is the complimentary color of blue. Orange, like blue, takes the loud effects of red and calming effects of yellow to make an excellently balanced color. I wouldn't go as far as to say that orange is my favorite color though because I don't like very many of its types.

Was, is, always will be- Blue.

There's something about the cool and calmness of it that I'll always enjoy.

Purple... I like blue too, but purple.

Or gray, but that's not really a color so it doesn't count.

Blue- almost any shade of it, but I like pale, calm blues best.

A close second would be lavender.

I would say black but black isn't a colour, its a shade. So i'm going to say Silver would be my favorite colour.

My favorite color is green because it is the color of money, but nearly any shad of green is good. I also like purple. Dark purple is awesome, but I've also grown quite fond of neon bright purple.

Silver and gold can be considered colours, even if they're just actually shaded versions of their real colour, they are still their own, or else'll it would've just been called "dark white" or "light black" etc.

I prefer darker tones, regardless the colours. More to metallic dark blue or dark red. I'm also like black plastic matte (like on most of firearm components) colour.

However, I dislike flashy or brightly (as I always refer to highlighter) colours.

I wear a lot of blue, black, and purple, but my favorite colors are red and green. O.O
