Pop Up Ads

This netgames one is ANNOYING as all hell. Just putting your mouse NEAR it, will make the little thing pop up. I got like nine of them just from trying to close my AG window.

Yeah,it's realy annoying.
I don't know how but this pop-up also goes throught the Firefoxs pop-up stopper. This is actually the first time that I got an pop-up here (since I'm using Mozilla Firefox).

Yeah, it does it on AOL, IE, and Mozilla.

And to further prove my point on how many I got, here&#39;s an image.

Note: like... 4 or five of these are from clicking on links in chat, and from getting PM&#39;s on the board.

Note: It&#39;s the "blocking pop-up&#39;s" thing on the bottom of the screen.

Even more annoying, for every window i get i get a box explaining that i am not running windows and that it doesent work because of that . X.X

Is very annoying i didnt even get pop ups in msn.I had to get a pop up blocker.

We don&#39;t actualy have any popup campaigns running now O_o; the Netpal one isn&#39;t a standard popup, it pops up when you put your mouse over the ad, any part of the ad. Because it&#39;s a "user triggered" event, it gets around most popup blockers. I&#39;ve been surfing over the sites with a "regular" copy of MSIE, to be sure that there are no popups O_o; and there are none at the moment.

The Netpal Games banner pays a very high CPM to us, thus gets us a lot of money.

With the new banner system, we&#39;ll be able to pick and choose our own campaigns to run. At that time, we may or may not disable that particular campaign.

The other popup issue was taken care of; I threatened the ad company with the removal of our ads across our entire network.

Installed the AdBlock plugin for Mozilla, so the netpal ad is history in my browser. Bwahahaha. Evil win32-only advertising&#33;

the pop-up ads are becomine excessive. Besides this one, there is now one for a smiley site. 4 out of 5 pages I went to on the forum had a pop-up ad.

the pop ups are freezing up my comp. i cant even go to a new page here without getting 2 or 3 pop ups

Same thing happened to me. I went to the main forum page, got 2 pop-ups. Clicked on "site issues", got another pop-up. Clicked on this thread, got 3 more pop-ups. Pressed "reply", got two more pop-ups. It&#39;s one thing to get the occassional pop-up, but it&#39;s another thing to be getting multiple pop-ups every time you go to a new page. I have talked to some other forum members and some of them are decreasing the amount they come to the forum because of the popups (either they find them annoying or they are slowing down their computer).

Just check how many in total the pop ups since today I&#39;ve had from the forum&#33;
PS; Yes I know they aren&#39;t all from the forum .... time to go hunt me some parasites :S

15 minutes on AG, went into 4 diff. forums with my aol pop up blocker going...there is only some pop-ups shown in the pic, there is 47 in all

Yeah.

I clicked on a thread, and not only did the page not show up, but ONLY THE AD SHOWED UP. WHICH TOOK ME TO THE AD&#39;S PAGE.

Last freakin&#39; straw, I swear.
