Ok, so I really want to make a web comic. no, I don't want to earn money on it.... Well, it would be nice, but I don't need to xD

The thing is, I have some ideas.... but I can't draw. At all. I mean, a dead turtle with paralyzed arms could draw better than me -.-''

So... if anyone wants to give me tips, hints, about anything about drawing simple, that would be great. Something cat/animal thing like this would be best: www.bittersweetcandybowl.com

If you want to help me with drawing and maybe co-operate, that would be possible too, I guess ^^

It's quite easy, either you need a scanner or a tablet to do this.
There's other online tools(heard Paint Tool Sai something is good) to use.
If you have a little plot/idea on how the comic should works let us know and we can easely help out, I would love to help aslong it keeps to not being any kind of "stupid" comic, like penguins driving tanks and has a second world war all over agian with every race in the world, that type of comics isn't fun, but all you need is a design of a character, in a large/medium big picture and all you have to do, is then draw miniatures of them or just make a easier drawing, that is easier to remember AND helps alot with recognizion instead of putting in a character that looks bad and changes appearance all the time, without a solid picture, that is something you should keep in mind. :)
Good luck anyhow. :)

Thanks to both of you! I've got most of it sorted out tho, what I'm struggling with is the drawing part... So if anyone is sitting on a link to some great and SIMPLE tutorials, tell me!

Remember, preferably something in the style of:

Ok bro what your gonna need is a set of graphite pencils, erasers, a couple sketchpads (and maybe some cheap computer printing paper), and a couple of how to draw books/websites.(You can find them on the internet for downloading.) Maybe you can get a Pc tablet, a scanner and some software if you want. You might want to check out some Mark Crilley (http://www.youtube.com/user/markcrilley) videos. A couple sites i used are Manga Tutorials (http://www.mangatutorials.com/) and BakaNeko (http://bakaneko.com/). Polykarbon (http://polykarbon.com/) is another website but the tutorials are being redone, and unfortunately Manga Revolution was shut down. You gotta be patient and practice to get better at it.Good luck!!

Gah. Everyone beat me to all the good drawing advice. Oh well.

I'm working out the starting stages of a web comic myself, so yeah.

One thing I've noticed is that perspective is key, since it engages readers and keeps them interested. You should pick up a book that's specifically on art perspective, preferably on comic art perspective. Learning different perspectives is something that happens after you've figured out your art style and learned how to draw (which really comes first..but whatevs).

Good luck! Keep us posted. :D
