Love Anime Suggestions?

Let me put it this way with K.O.R...

This massive anime is one of the few romantic comedies which allows you to reeeeeeeeeally care for the characters, there is somebody in the cast you are garunteed you will just love. The drama has a whimisical feel to it, and the love triangle although quickly established in the first two episodes, slowly evolves throught the course of 45 episodes and 8 ova's. And finally in the first movie it is resolved, and as somebody who isn't really into romantic anime I must say the first movie (I want to Return to that Day) is one of the nastiest heart wrenchers around. (Except for Grave of the Fireflies, but thats known to make grown men cry), while the Second movie (Shin Kimagure Orange Road: Summers Begining) serves as a suitable epilouge.

Make sure though you watch it all in order, you will make the most of it that way, and the first movie loses the effect it has if you havent seen all the tv and ova's. You need to get attachedt o the characters first.

i say every anime has romance so i cant really say......cause like everyone knows, im obsessed by inuyasha. and its mostly because of the love story, even if its not the main story. So you wanna watch shojo series?

Rumiko Takehashi is good at romance, but it seems down below the premise is always the same, a.)The guy is hopeless b.)The girl is to tomboyish and/or proud to admit to her feelings.

NOT that that is a bad thing, but I wonder what she went through to always make her tackle that subject matter?

I've found Rumiko Takashi's romance storyline a little too dragged-out. It takes forever for her couples to get together. For me, I see her works as more of Action/Comedy with a hint of Romance. But then again, I've only seen Ranma and Inuyasha and I don't know if her other works have the same formula.

By the way... does anyone know if Ranma and Akane or Inuyasha and Kagome finally hooks up? I've lost interest in the anime and just wondering which episodes this happened in (if it did happen).

- Ai Yori Aoshi (IMHO the best romantic anime yet)
- Love Hina
- His and Her Circumstances (Despite it ending in a obsessive bout of anime-schitzophrenia a-la evangellion)
- Fruits Basket (definitely underrated these days, good thru the end)
- Video Girl AI (one dvd, an older one, but complete and a classic story and hours of good romance!)
- Please! Teacher (some people freak out over the idea but IMHO it's quite a good love story)

There are also romantic themage in the 7-DVD "Full Metal Panic" and comedic romance in Martian Sucessor Nadesico.
