jus wondering does ne1 noe bout the anime hajime no ippo? its bout this boxing anime that i think is pretty good... too bad im not good in making wall papers but i was hoping that som1 that is interested mite be able to make one? tnx if u can. if u hav ne opinion plz tell me

point us to some good pictures to work with and i'm sure someone will make one. you should give it a try too, you may be better than you think.

lets make a little event of it! We used to do this; come up with a wallpaper theme, take a couple weeks to do it, everyone posts their results.

so... everyone that's interested... make a Hajime no Ippo wallpaper!

We'll need scans first... cause some people are more resourceful than others at getting them.... not fair for a contest.

i checked a bunch of galleries and did a google search, and didn't come up with much at all, so yeah, scan's are gonna be needed for this one i think, or something

On our old AW contests, everyone needed to get their own scans, and it usually went good... Don't see a problem... Specially if it's a contest...
I mean, there it is the challenge...
1. Find a good picture;
2. Do the cutout and editing;
3. Put it with a background to make it look good;

well the contest is not a bad idea but one thing is that i have trouble geting the pictures. i was hoping that some one who watches could get some pictures.... this doesnt sound too good for this since everyone is asking for a scan... sry ppl i cant do much bout that.

DarkDeath, that would work well.... except scans for this anime are particularly hard to come by.... what next, a contest for Prince of Tennis wallpapers? If you can find me a great PoT scan, I'll be forever grateful to you.

In the alt.binaries.pictures.wallpaper newsgroup they have a weekly wallpaper making contest. Each week a single source image is chosen by whoever organizes it and anyone is free to enter. Entries are due by Thursday night and a website is made for voting all day friday. On Saturday the winner is declared.

That's the site, you can browse the contests and look for the "WW##_source.jpg" which is the source image, and the rest are the contestants' works.
