Name: Kain Soma (The One Winged Angel)
Race: Drow (Dark Elf)
Class: Lightweight Fighter/Ranger

Weapons: Rapier, Dagger, Longbow (Regular and Ice Arrows)
Armor: Chainmail, Buckler

Personality: Somwhat reserved in nature, but his tounge his sharp. He is very forward with a "tell it as it is" attitude when he speaks. Due to his race, he tends to attract negative attitudes from those who are stong belivers in the concept of good and evil. His approach on the subject is that the concept of good and evil is a concieted notion used by the church and buerracrats to play the common fools into their hand. He himself has a much more jaded personality, tending to swing between good and evil like a pendulum, but despite this he hates when people force others into their own personal matters unwillingly. And because of this he never ever hurts bystanders.

Apearence: Kains face is scared down the left side of his face from his forehead, down to his cheek. His eyes are a deep blue colour, with the traditional deep greyish blue coloured skin of the dark elves. His hair is coloured black, but the left side of the face is dyed white, as a tribute to his dead parents. Standing at 6' he is built solid by elven standards but retains the slender grace of his kin.

Bio: As a young boy, Kain was shocked at the savagery of his people whose parents were lynched by a mob of his fellow citizens. The reasons behind this were beyond his head at the time, but escaping his captors he became an outcast of his own people. Walking the lands, Kain survived in the wilderness. Growing up as a Mercenary, Kain earnt the title as "The One Winged Angel" due to many of his actions, his near ferocious but honourable style of fighting, the fact that he is a drow, and his strange appearence.

(Fun way of describing a character )

She had merely just arrived outside the kingdom. For some time she remains outside the gates. Realizing, after awhile that she would have to camp overnight as it was getting late enough that the gates had been locked. Quietly, Keshadei lead her horse away from the walls to find a wayward pine to settle under. As she dismounts, she pulls the bags from her saddle and lays them to the ground against the pine's trunk. Having just fed recently, she had no need of hunting this eve so she instead went to work building a small fire. Though that hardly warmed her cold, marble white skin. A few silent moments pass by while she watches her horse idly, her long slender fingers wrapping around the hilts of her various daggers to pull them from their hiding places and set aside. Well, almost all of them. She yawns, her lips parting rather wide, allowing the fading sunlight to flash off of her long fangs before she purses her lips together again. She reaches over her shoulder to pull her deep auburn curls to the front so she might sit without actually sitting on it.

After a long while of contemplating in silence, Keshadei lays out in the grass after piling up some of the pine needles from the tree she resides under. The leather clothes she wears creaks almost inaudibly as she moves. She lays out on her back, her blades nearby, with her gloved hands laying across her flat stomach. Steadly drifting into slumber, her dreams return, as they always do each eve. The memories of the day she arrived at the bustling city port. Of meeting the so called mayor of the city. His gifts, his attentions. His proposal and her refusal. His anger at her....then his revenge. She had woken up days later miles away from the sea side city, a beautiful but shameful tattoo had been put onto her back. But worst of all, she began to realize she had been changed somehow. Sunlight bothered her, food never satisfied her. Of course, she came to realize soon enough what she had been forced to become. Luckily, her vampirism didn't affect her ability to shapeshift into her other form of a anthromorphic tigress. She was relieved to find that her fur fully covered the tattoo that had been put to her back. She preffered, however, to remain in her human form when around others as it offered less of a feared reaction from those around her. A vampire they could handle, it seemed.. but a tigress they could not.

Her eyes blink open, merely starting upwards at the trees limbs for quite some time. Mentally, she was glad her dreams didn't go back so far as her childhood or her failed marriage and stayed at the usual incidents. She gets to her feet and begins to back her horse for the short trip into the realms gates. If she started off now, she would be at the gates when they were unlocked. She pushes the saddle onto her horse, then stands beside him just running her fingers over the tooled leather with her name, Keshadei Anaeal`Aaoto. After a sigh, she mounts and starts off down the road.

Race: Faerie Queen (Neutral Alignment)

History:Orphaned recently the Young Monarch struggles to do what she has been schooled in all her life; Rule. Sometimes stern, though never malicious, she does her best to balance kindness with practicality.

Personality: Kindly, wise, practical and possessing a good sence of humor but is mostly serious.

Physical Description: Fair skinned and fine boned her outward fragility conceals a deep and abiding inner strength. Her hair is Sunny red with some slight wave to it and her watchful eyes are grey and stormy set in a careful thought concealing mask which is her face. In hieght she is dainty and in Dress rather ceremonious. Her clothing is often of the richest materials cut in the latest of fashions, she often favors considerably feminine attire and jewelery which appeals to a hidden sentimental side.

[Princess Ai]

Name: Ai Anaki

Race: Elven

History: Raised away from her family, so that she wouldn't grow to be a concieted princess. She grew up in the midst of the forrest. She can call animals to her, and speak the language of the horse. Her best friend is a unicorn in that respect. She's not really close to anyone else but rarely visits her real family. She's 17 years old.

Personality: I'll wing it.

Looks: Pretty much like Liv Tyler, or Arwen from LOTR, but her hair is longer, and black. Her eyes are a deep purple, and she's fairly tall. She usually wears a skirt and a tank top, unless the weather calls for something different.

She is a skilled Archer, especially from horseback.

Personality: Cold, Stern, Noble and Respectful.

Apearence: Cloud is known in this realm to have his spiky blond hair, but it has black tips at the ends. He has glowing green eyes. He also has a scar on his left cheek. Has a studded shoulder pad on his left shoulder. He also carries his buster sword on his back. He also wears studded gauntlets and wears black clothes and favors his newly fonded cape.

Bio: Cloud was from another dimension in a different time. Holy sent him to a different dimension. The Queen of Medias res found Cloud and now wants to join the order. The queen titled him a paladin and now he fights by her side.

Race: Half-Elf Half-Human (Neutral Alignment)

History:Treasure Hunter extrordinaire (In other word he's a thief but he insists to be called that), Part-time assassin. Drion's history is a tumultous one his mother was raped by an unknown human bandit while travelling the forest, driven out by her family she travelled to a large human city where she died giving birth to Drion, he was taken cared for in an orphanage till 5 where he was made fun of his descent, however war broke into the city destroying everthing including the orphanage. taken as a slave he was too young to be branded. He served under a kind and just master for a year until they were attacked by the local thugs. Drion survived and was picked up by the local thief's guild as a likely prospect. Trained by the best theives in the city he gradually learned his craft for a fee ofcourse. granted guild status at age 14 because of his wit and extaordinary reflexes, he somehow became a local legend in the city. But being ambitous he decided to set out and travel the world at age 15, at another city he was doing good but somehow chose the wrong person to steal from. You cant really tell who are assassins these days. Quick witted and charming he ended up making a deal with the assasin who taught him everything he knows about the art of death for 2 year. He grew to be a an exeptional assassin at 17 but detested working for people. So decided to move on again. Having lived through various cities and gaining a repute as an assassin and a thief he decided to set out again, Drion now age 21 steps into a city that might change his fate forever. (he also changes his name and alias and description in various cities a standard for thieves and assassins. only the assassin and theives guilds have the correct data on him.)

Personality: Quick witted and charming, he has a sunny personality and lives under the strict theives guild code.


Physical Description: At an average hieght he is fair skinned but also attractive looking, slightly built he has very good reflexes. being a half elf he wears a hat to cover his elven ears.

[Princess Mononoke]

name: Shadarii
race: half human/half woodland elf

Personality: Shadarii is at first quiet and easygoing. It is hard for her to open up to anybody around her. Even anyone very close to her. She loves nature and has lived with the elves in the scattered woodlands most of her life.

Bio: Shadarii was born in a human world she does not now remember. Her human mother died giving birth to her. She later found her elven father, though not long before he left this world also. She was alone most of her adolesent years and she doesnt mind being a loner. She finds that being alone with nature is very peaceful to her. She believes she has inherited the art of healing from her mother and uses her skills for the plants and animals in her forests. Shadarii loves to educate herself and wants to some day consider herself a scholar.

Appearance: Shadarii has a very tall and slender body, but not overly tall. Her posture is very appropriate and when seen walking she looks like she is gracefully gliding through the air. She has long thick brown hair, which always seems to stay in place. She wears long homemade gowns made out of a very thin material mostly in the colors of white and brown.

OOC: I'm going to import my character from the now-defunct Aiyon ORPG, with his memories from life on Aiyon intact; The general theory I'm using to back this up is as follows:

Nyle, at the time of the collapse of the Aiyon ORPG, was part of a band of travellers questing to defeat a powerful, megaliomanical mage (of the sort who makes such good stock villains xD). This mage had thrown several traps in the party's path, including a trap which sent them back in time to a village that had been destroyed by a supernatural power which had sealed the village off so that its victims couldn't escape. The ORPG collapsed shortly after the party destroyed the artifact maintaining the supernatural creature's power, thereby altering history, which created a paradox which broke the spell that had sent them back.

To transition that character to this world, I propose that the bad guy mage finally succeeded in completing a spell which banished Nyle and his friends to alternate realities forever, removing their influence from Aiyon. Of course, this means that the bad guy won in Aiyon's RP, but since the RP will never be finished, nobody cares.

Nyle will awaken in this world remembering his past but unfamiliar with the new world. If the alternate-reality-hopping scenario isn't acceptable, we can simply make Nyle's past memories into some sort of delusion caused by some illness, accident, or spell

Name: Nyle Laochailan
Race: Human
Class: Ranger

Weapons: Nyle carries a bastard sword in his right (dominant) hand, and at need wields a kotetsu knife in his left (Following the Neverwinter Nights notion that the off-hand weapon should be smaller than the dominant hand weapon in order to avoid a damage penalty). Although a Ranger, Nyle is not very proficient with any ranged weapons, and carries a shortbow only as a reserve.
Armor: Leather armor at the heaviest
Animal Companion: Nyle travels with a wolf he once rescued in a forest in Aiyon. Nyle simply calls the wolf "Wolf," since names don't matter to wolves. Words are very seldom needed between the two.

Bio: Nyle became a mercenary at the age of fifteen. He was very good at his job, and was able to retire a wealthy man at the age of twenty-nine. The majority of his wealth, however, was held for him at banks throughout Aiyon. Although the amount that he was carrying with him when he awoke in this world is larger than most people would carry around, he's become accustomed to the life of a rich man and may find it difficult to live life according to his standards of before--that's *if* people in this world will accept money stamped with the marks of nations no-one has ever heard of before. At the age of thirty, Nyle was in a tavern with his lady love, Kira, and a drunken man threatened her with a knife. Nyle came to Kira's rescue, but killed the man in the ensuing fight. For this, he was exiled from his homeland and parted forcefully from Kira. At the age of thirty-two, Nyle met his companions and began the quest against the mage mentioned above, but lost his eyesight in a skirmish with that mage's henchmen. Nyle has since developed his hearing to an advanced level to help compensate for his lack of vision, and also has a magical "second sight" that enables him to sense things which would be hidden from ordinary people. Although this means that darkness is irrelevant to Nyle, he will be unaware of his surroundings in a sufficiently noisy room--Interference from other sounds will prevent him from determining the source of an echo. (Nyle is still thirty-two years old)

One addendum: Nyle's lack of skill with the shortbow was true initially--Since he's lost his eyesight, the bow is virtually useless. His hearing and second sight allow him to hold his own in a fight using his sword and (possibly) knife, but at greater distances, sound becomes progressively less useful as a detection mechanism, and Nyle would be as dangerous to friend as to foe while using a bow.

So many people wowzers! Hey Ayumi, Media res means "In the middle of" or something like that right? I learned it in mythology, kinda cool that people actually use that stuff outside the classroom.

Name: Jerii Romen

Race: Human

Weapon: Masamune, a long broadsword with the spirit of two great warriors of the past, Masa and Mune.

Physical Appearance: Has short spiked black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. He wears a suit of armor, with a black cape. Doesn't normally wear a knight helm, just a white bandana.

Personality: At times clumsy, but has a sense of bravery at times of despair. He has a strong sense of Chilvary, which can often lead to trouble. He has a friendly nature, but sometimes finds himself alone in the world, just trying to find his place in society.

Class: Knight of Media Res

History: Jerii's parents pasted away long ago when he was only ten years old. He wanted to follow his father's footsteps as a knight to the kingdom of Media Res, so he became a squire under the knight, Sir Gar Makumi. Jerii trained hard, and was recognized as a great warrior by his peers, but has yet to recieve a proper knighting ceremony given by the Queen. In order to become knighted, Jerii must do something extraordinary and almost legendary for the kingdom. Jerii went to the woods nearby to train one day when he came upon a grave marked by a sword driven into the ground. Jerii began to walk away from the site, knowing to let the dead rest in peace, when he heard voices in his head. The voices said that they were from the sword. Jerii was told to pull the sword out of the stone by the voices coming from the it. The sword was called Masamune, in honor of the two spirits lodged into the sword, Masa and Mune. Masa is the older of the two, and wiser, while Mune is the younger and stronger brother. The two spirits had their very essence forged into the sword, for reasons unknown. The spirits help Jerii with his swordsmanship, and the sword itself contains many untapped powers, Jerii has yet to discover. Jerii accepts to take ownership of the sword and now he strives to walk along the footsteps of his father, by becoming a knight of his kingdom.

Other Notes: The Two Spirits Masa and Mune communicate through Jerii telepathically. The sword and Jerii are psychically linked, only someone with psyhic powers can hear what the spirits are telling Jerii. Sometimes the spirits can communicate to others, but only rarely, otherwise they are kept a secret.

It may be because I ran out of time or ideas at the moment so I'm pausing it for a moment before finishing it at a later time. Don't know which will happen first. And yes, Quinn is female.

Race:Human

Weapon:Likes using a glaive but if she must, she will go for the normal sword, one of which she does keep with her. The sword blade is made from a strange black metal(*shrugs*). The glaive is made from the same black metal and to fool people she had the glaive made in a way that when its not in use, the blade slids into the glaive handle so that it looks much like a staff rather then a glaive.

Appearence: Short, reddish brown hair that reaches chin length. She has sharp green eyes with flecks of grey and stands about 5'8. She hides that shes female at times if theres any way to worm her way into becoming a knight-in traing more or less but shes usually found out within time and kicked out. Her usual outfit is tan colored leggings that fall to her ankles and hugs close to her skin. The top is a dark green tunic that matches her eyes and goes well with her reddish brown hair. Lastly is her dark brown, boots made of a strong material. Her sword is strapped to her hip and the glaive, in staff form sometimes is in hand. Because she wears no armor, some men are unsure of fighting her since they could hurt her badly but she calls them names and finally goads them into fighting her within time.

Personality:Strong-willed. Works hard to get what she wants. Wont take no for an answer unless she knows she wont win or the person's rank is high above her own, then she gives in, and doesn't try to argue.

History:She wants to become a knight of Medias Res but as is normal, no girl is fit to be a knight by most standards. She'll go as far as spar with any man who dares to say shes weak and sometimes wins. Other times shes beaten and laughed at. But being beaten isn't all that often. It really depends upon the fighting style of her opponent and their strength. It they are stronger then her, she can be pushed down but she has trained hard so she puts up a good fight against all men.
She lots her parents when she was small but still had her big brother around for a while. He was a strong fighter and wanted ot become a knight also but he died during a fight to protect her and so now she also wants to be a knight to follow Terins dream. Shes still within the training since she is not yet a knight. And so far only Squire level but shes good and works hard to get better.

Weapon: Two short swords. On one blade, a dragon is etched on the steel, on the other blade, an etching of a flame.

Appearance: Medium length red hair, spiked back. Dark brown eyes. Stands at about 5'9" and has about a medium build. He wears a very large dark green cloak, with a hood that covers the majority of his face when he wears it. His features are normally hidden behind this hood, but underneath, he is a very good looking person. He hides a scar across his back, a permanent reminder of his past.

Personality: He knows what is right and he knows what is wrong, but he just doesn't care. He isn't very social and only speaks when spoken to or giving out commands. His only apparent ambition is to only become stronger

History: Krys was raised in the northern lands, always dreaming of what it would be like to travel. His father however, forbid it, and instead made him work for the blacksmith. The blacksmith, being an old warrior himself, told Krys about his many adventures. This continued for about 3 years. Then one day, the village was attacked and Krys watched his family and friends be murdered in front of his eyes. He took up arms and attacked one of the men, killing him but being knocked unconscious by another. He woke up days later in a prison all alone, where for 5 years, he was forced to work and was barely given anything to eat. One day he had found a way to escape, but on the way out, was stabbed in the back by one of the guards and dumped into the river. He was later found at the mouth of the river by an old hermit, who trained him for 4 years. He now wanders the land, trying to survive with whatever he can.

Name: Sangar Kam

Age: 560 years old

Race: Dead Human

Class: Assassin

Alignment: Neutral

Weapons: 5 1/2 Foot Broad Sword (the hilt is in the style of avampire skull), Mase, Long Bow, Two daggers (one ordanary and one must have blood every time it is drawn.)

Appearance: 6 foot 7 inches, 270 lbs, very well build. He wears full plate armor over a mythreil chain mail. His face always seems to be in the shadow and all that shows is his red flaming eyes.

Personality: The only time he talks is when he is making a deal. And about the price of things. which leads people to believe that he hates every one and every thing.

History: His history is unknown. No one knows why he is still on this plane and not in the other realm. All they know is what he does know. And that is kill.

[Pretty Boy of Evil]

The giant rat scuttles across the mangled tile floor, hurling itself headlong at the wounded giant. Its rodent hiss is now the growl of an angry man, transformed in midair from rat to midnight cloaked attacker. As he brings his weapon in line to thread the giant's throat on his blade, the monster recoils from him and introduces him to the business end of his enormous flanged mace.

The blow would have felled three oxen. The little man flies through the air amid a spray of blood, smashes through a delicate stone column, and strikes the far wall behind him. He slides down the wall to the ground leaving a dark trail, barely illuminated in the gloom of the great chamber.

One ragged breath soon becomes a dozen. The wiry man peels himself off the wall, cracks his neck, and finds his dropped sidesword. His rage waxing, he lopes off to find the giant.

Rumors of Ramarren's demise are, as usual, exaggerated.

PERSONALITY: Very lighthearted. Caam, is... well.. a bit crazy. His personality generally lingers in a crazy, lighthearted, over exaggeration of everything that could be going on. Though when push comes to shove, and the times are right, or he has the authority he is a very shrewd serious person. The best way to put Caam is "he follows his heart" and when he's not. He's just downright nuts and a great friend.

APPEARANCE: Caamalot Stands at 6'8" and at the first look of him you may be intimidated. Wearing all black he looks a bit mysterious, though once you look into his blue eyes he doesnt' seem all that complicated. Usually is doning a smile and always has his black hair covered by an equally dark Stetson. A cowboy at heart he always rides up on his faithful..... ermm... Drunkard... steed Taboo.

BIO: Haling from the land of Lorag he lived in the Kings castle, amongst many of his childhood friends. At night he and his friends would usually stay in the barn to escape from another night of eating vegetables, and during the day he'd face the glares of eyes that suspected he and the others would amount to nothing.

Their glares, later would only turn into smiles as he came through town. He grew up to be one of their great heroes. His follysome adventures later to be regailed throughout the village.

He doesnt' know how he got here, cannot remember what has happened within the last 72 hours, but can only hope that his memory, and his beloved will find him.

Hey all! My forum name is Zelos. I usually keep the same character traits through out every rp forum I've done which is....

Name: Zelos (aka Night Red)

Physical Description: Dark brown hair, Black eyes (which flicker red when either angry or interested), 5' 10'', a long slender scar up his right arm

Age: Actuall age unknown however appearances lead him to be in his early 20's

Origin: Unknown

Background: All that is really known about Zelos is that his parents died when he was fairly young and was then brought up by his Aunt who then also died not to long after taking him in. His Uncle sold him to Master Blacksmith who then thought Zelos how to weild a sword at an early age. Then at age 15 Zelos was killed at brawl at the local traven. Ashamed at the boy the black smith hauled him out into the forest, where a sage reserected Zelos after sometime, healing him completly except for the scar on his right arm; a reminder of his previous death. After being reserected Zelos became a Rouge Merchenary.

Personality: Ricia's personality is very regal, as if he/she is royalty, the looks of this Knight even makes one assume that his/her position is not just that of an Emperial Knight. He/She seems well manners, and most would take it that this knight, with the honor and chivalry displayed is of the male persuasion. Nothing affects Ricia emotionally, and Ricia's face remains stern in times most would buckle under the pressure.

Appearance: Ricia is about 6'0" with a solid build. Due to a full covering of armor or baggy clothes (or Ricia's other form), it's hard to discern the gender of this wonderer. Though most who know Ricia use the word "Sir" to greet him/her. Ricia has dirty blond hair and a cold gaze. Most have not seen Ricia's face directly, it is generally covered all but the eyes.

Special Capabilities: Ricia is very well skilled in the Katar and swords. In the land of Lorag, Pure Breds also have another feline form. Ricia's feline form being that of a black Panther. Clairavoyance and ESP run high in their skills. If Ricia cannot read your mind, he/she can definately read your emotions. Not a very good person to play poker with.....
