Default Dub Music

I don't know about you guys, but I LOVED the dub music. It was awesome. The Vegeta's theme with the bells fit perfectly.

I watched certain parts of the Jap version after having seen the Eng version, and I was really disappointed. They were so boring without the Bruce Faulconer touch. I don't think I would have enjoyed DBZ much at all if it didn't have the Eng soundtrack.

Both soundtracks were good, the Japanese version was a bit more silent though...

I think that the musis in Funimation's dub was mediocre and bland, but that the music in the original Japanese was even worse, beyond what should be allowed in this world. It sounded like a PBS childrens' show mixed with a bad carnival as heard from the rusty Whirligig ride most of the time.
From what I've observed, this is normal for quite a few anime, but it oes not ease my pain at all.

Bland? What are you talking about? The music always fit the mood, it was intense during intense scenes and more light hearted during light hearted scenes. I don't think you watched the English dub.

If you meant English English, then, no, I didn't watch that.
I watched the Funimation dub regularly on Cartoon Network back when it was on every afternoon. I never said the music was actually bad or mismatched, just a tad boring. If it can't stand on its own from the original visuals, that's how I view a soundtrack. Sorry.

Putting Pantera was a good touch.El Gato and The Pointy Shoe Factory made The Broly Movie kinda unwatchable.Mostly because I didn't want alternative while Gohan was being massacred, but rather a Piano by Ron Liberachi{spelled wrong}.

The opening music on the Eng/US version is awesome. I have it on my iPod XD
