....But when was Rurouni Kenshin set in the Feudal Era?

I could have sworn this storyline took place in the late years of the Tokugawa/early Meiji. And also that the Feudal Era was more or less before the Tokugawa Era.

Or Feudal Japan=old Japan?

And no one told me?

Please elaborate, if I am wrong.

Aparently I have to post the feudal sticky here as well.

Feudal is NOT a Japanese term, its from Europe and doe NOT refer to a period in time.
