demon magic or hack and slash

which would you prefer? a demon magic type soul slayer (soul slayers that employ the use of elements or illusions) or go all out pure power (as with the case of Zaraki Kempachi) with a direct attack type soul slayer (soul slayers that have no demon magic abilities but have explosive attack strength)?

Id have a Soul slayer that used both like Ichigo.

just as you know, Ichigo uses a direct attack type soul slayer (Zangetsu's gestuga tenshou only amplifies ichigo's slash by eatibg his spirit force and releasing it, no elements involved and his bankai only amplifies combat speed).

I agree. There's usually little effect with Demon magic. Why waste time with magic when you can rush up and Crush your opponent(and get knocked down because you underestimated him).

i think it's demon magic why coz when Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai the captain of the 1st squad use i't at Nanao Ise seem's to be shock on it although she's a lieutenant already.

i think yamamoto-shotaicho (commander general yamamoto) only gave out exorbitant amounts of spirit force that overwhelmed lieutenant nanao. (like zaraki emitting so much spirit force that it made ganju and hanatarou's bodies heavy and caused them to faint), but yes, his soul slayer (ryuujin jakka) is a demon magic type (fire element)

Hmm interesting... I would prefer demon magic because not all hack and slash is effective. Theres not much choice of fighting techniques and its boring >.> where as demon magic has endless potential and can be used in conjunction with other magic.

kempachi is by far my favourite captain...he likes fighting and because of that he doesn't hide behind demon magic...he's awesome...
