How come in the anime version of Bleach, they call Vice-Captains/Assistant Captains, Leutanits and in the manga the call them Assistant Captains?

Ok, thanks.
I was just confused when they would use the 2 different terms. I'd be like, WTF?!, wasn't he just an Assistant Captain???!!!

Also, vice-captain is the same thing as a Lieutenant so...there's that too.

There are the Taichou (Captains) and Taichan (Lieutenants). They are both used in manga and anime (As far as I can tell). I believe it's simply a different translater.

Either they got translated different, or the producers of the anime just want to put their personal touch on what they can control, like some directors do to movies. A bit like how you would want to change something in a book or movie, and they just did.

It probably got translated differently, but it doesn't really matter. Lieutenant is below a captain in rank, anyway. They probably thought "Lieutenant" sounded better than "Assistant Captain" in English.
