EXCITING NEWS!!!!

Geneon and Tokyo Pop are sponsoring a wallpaper contest to promote the launch of the Samurai Champloo Manga, which was released November 8th.

They have generously provided prizes and images and will be judging the contest themselves!!

Anyone and Everyone are welcome to enter!

RULES:

1. Wallpaper has to be 1024x768 or larger

2. Wallpaper has to have your name and the url of " www.animegalleries.net " on the image (Recommended location is on the bottom in 12pt font)

3. Winning wallpapers, along with honorable mentions, will be hosted on the AnimeGalleries.net website for all to see!

4. You may only enter one wallpaper

Prizes are:

-First Prize - (One Winner) - Samurai Champloo vol. 1, Cowboy Bebop Boxed sets, Devil May Cry v.1, Kingdom Hearts v.1, BECK v.1, and Saiyuki Reload v.1; one Samurai Champloo messenger bag, one Samurai Champloo t-shirt

-Second Prize - (One Winner) - Cowboy Bebop Boxed Sets, Samurai Champloo v.1; one Samurai Champloo messenger bag, one Samurai Champloo t-shirt

-Third Prize - (One Winner) - Samurai Champloo v.1, Saiyuki Reload v.1, Devil May Cry v.1, Kingdom Hearts v.1; one Samurai Champloo t-shirt

-Staff Favorites - (Five Winners) - Samurai Champloo v.1

All Entries must be submitted by December 8, 2005 (One month after launch!! teehee). All questions can be posted in this thread and all entries can be posted here

You can find images specifically given to us by Tokyo Pop and Genon here
but you may use any images from the Samurai Champloo Gallery on AnimeGalleries.net

Can I post as many wallpapers as I want? How will you choose a winner if I can post several wallpapers? Will you choose only one of them, or will eveyone be able to win each prize?

IE: If I submit 5+ wallpaper, will I be able to win 2nd -and- 3rd prize? OR only one of them?

Be aware that you will need to provide your name and address to TokyoPop if you win to recieve your prizes. You won't have to give it to us, but they won't be able to ship a prize to you otherwise ^_^;;

So we're not limited to just the pictures on AnimeGalleries and the pics Tokyopop and Genon gave? We can use any outside source for Samurai Champloo images? (Just double checking.)

Edit: as for the Cowboy Bebop Box Set, I was told "90% chance its Manga."

All judging will be done by Tokyo Pop and prizes will be sent out by them. You'll have to give them your real address and name to send the prizes.

Is this done in the when we submit in the submission thread that will come up or what? I don't have a problem with leaving my address and name (I doubt someone will come to Norway and do unmentionable things to me), but someone might have
