chat issues

for some reason, I can't access the chat. www.animeglobe.com doesn't even exist for me unsell I click Chat from animeforum.com, and even then, the java applett doesn't function. Any advice?

DNS Issue likely

Hm, let me see, you have a dynamic IP, it doesn't let you on AF ... Maybe there's a problem with the DNS of your ISP.

Let me know if this work:
Go to Windows -> and use the search engine there. Look for a file named "hosts" (usually in Windows > system32 > drivers > etc), open it with "notepad" and add these lines, everyone in it's own line:

Save and that should be all ^_^

I had the same problems on my university, sometime I just couldn't access the forums, and then I realized that there was a problem with the DNS server >_>

Should fix it, as it fixed others problems as well.

basically yeah, if you're having problems with it (as in it times out, etc.) that will fix it.

or at least it worked for me.

Thanks. That gets me to animeglobe.com...but animeglobe.com/chat still doesn't exist...and the java applett for the chat still won't open when I go there through animeforum.com. But I'm a step closer, I think!

Hm, not sure, but I think that you also need the ip of tuxedomask.com ..... can't get it on this stupid limited university comp ... can someone post it for me, tnx ^_^
