Love Hina: Anime or Manga?

I've got all the manga of Hina, 1-14. I took a look at one episode of the anime and was immediately disgusted by the voice acting in english. I mean, they used the guy from demi-devimon as keitaro! Besides that, I was wondering if it was worth my while to actually watch the whole series. Cuz, I don't wanna get discouraged by just one thing, not knowing that the anime was really good.

You should get it on Japanese. It's 100 times better. But I think the last chapter of the manga isn't in the anime.

I though alot of things in the anime wasnt in the manga. Like mei or that animated doll.......

I think I prefer the Manga, probebly because I found it more enjoyable.

The Manga is the true story of Love Hina but the anime series isn't all that bad. The story line mabye different but the way they do the story is well done.

And actually Mie is in the Manga. But she onlt makes one apperance. here is the picture. I have an arrow pointing to her.

Yeah. Naru makes a reference to the doll in one of the books too, but I think that was more or less an inside thing for the anime and manga watchers

The voices on the episodes are horrible. My friend got me one of the DVDs and i was so excited, but when i watched it i was horrified. I haven't gotten any more of the DVDs. I much perfer the manga.

Hey don't diss the anime so easly. Watch it the Japanese version. It's much better. But i like the english voices some.

The manga doesn't have a super compacted ending like the anime.

The LH manga all the way, the amount of animes they butcher! The actual anime infact makes it a lost worse on most occasions! And as Mingus mentioned, a lot of the voice talent is appauling to hear, especially Spike Spencer's, oh how i dispise that voice, if i ever heard that voice in real life i'd go up to him and beat the crap into him, well maybe not but you all can get a vague idea of where i'm going with this, as for Keitaro's voice, it's very irratating but i got used to it, although i wished i hadn't!!!

I got another few volumes of the Love Hina manga, and well, i stick by my choice of the manga being better! After encouragement of anime_overload to buy the whole series i think i will follow his advice, no his badgering, lol ^^

yep most of the time the manga is wayy better than the anime (i.e.) love hina, .hack ect.

sure the action is nice but its edited and most of the stuff is taken out

Exactly monk, in other words it's uncut! plus there more to the story and plenty of speech the cut out in the anime also!

The manga defintely has alot more depth than the anime. Plus, I like the ending of the manga ten times better. I can't watch the dub, because, like many people have said before me, the voices are horrendous. The Japanses voices are soooo much better. Plus Naru gets on my nerves in the anime. I liked her in the manga alot, but don't like her in the anime...

There not much different that in the manga but as you clearly stated it's probally down to the fact of hear that irritating voice rant on and on, as in the manga you obviously didn't have to deal with that unless you had a special manga copy which was magical, lol
