How the hell do women put on and take off a bra everyday?
The clasps on those things are like Rubik's Cubes to me

No power in the 'verse can stop me...
Ha! Sometimes it just takes the snap of your fingers to pop them bad boys off. Well...er, I mean..with her consent of course.Originally Posted by Velvet_Nightmare:2651506
One thing I find redundant here is the 'why are girls complex,' 'why are guys difficult.' That kind of assumes that we all have the innate ability to read one another without communicating. My last girlfriend I could read like a book, I knew when she had a bad day, I knew what to say. Some of my friends that were guys, it was like pulling teeth to get basic information.
I find the more time you spend with your counterpart, the easier it becomes to understand them, which is why I think both sexes get their reputations for being overly complex or too difficult.
On topic, how do you know when you're in love? I like this question because its like asking an artist when a painting is finished, or asking someone who does a boring sounding job always works so hard. What markers, or signs are there to you? Or is it just a strange feeling you get one day?
I think that trying to define the feeling of "love" is like trying to develop a generalized concept for an incredibly broad subject. Looking for signs of love, then, would require you to blindly follow these generalized concepts, right?
The "love" as this poetic, romantic emotion we often hear of is, IMHO, merely the "idea of love". That doesn't mean that it is just crap; it just means that "love" is so subtle and intricate, that forcing yourself to look for it would probably result in you never finding it. It is something wildly subjective and personal, that's why some people say that talking about love is not loving... Poets probably disagree though xD
"To like is to want, but to love is to give." - one of the infinite interpretations of love.
Now I have a question for the girls:
Why play so hard to get sometimes?
S@Eikyuu - playing hard to get filters out those who are mildly interested from those who REALLY like you. So if you play hard to get, and I guy doesn't give up then you know he likes you, and is not just after someone 'easy'.
most guys are VERY easy to understand......they want sexytime.
they hang out with you - to get sexytime
they buy you stuff - to get sexytime
they are REALLY nice to you - to get sexytime
they laugh at your jokes - to get sexytime
they put up with your BS - to get sexytime later
ladies, why do you think that most guys always want to hang out with other "guy friends"???
because they would rather be hanging out with guy friends, they are only spending time with you in order to get sexytime.
don't believe me?? you are thinking "my mans not like that"!!!
ok, well go tell the guy that you are dating you aren't gonna "do it" with him anymore. i bet you won't be together over a month, max 3 months if you don't do anything.
if he sticks with you over 3 months.....congrats, you gotta keeper.
or you are thinking "i have guys that are just friends, and they like me for me. they aren't trying to get with me"
well, throw yourself completely at this supposed "friend". act like you want him soooooo bad, and you can't wait to rip his clothes off.
if he says no, then congrats.... you have a true friend that wasn't "into you" in a sexual way......i REALLY doubt he's gonna say no though.
i'm not trying to be mean, and i'm not even saying that i'm this way......just saying most guys are.
this makes them easy to understand.

"If you talk to God, you are praying. If God talks to you, you have schizophrenia."
Speak for yourself. Wanting sex a lot and only wanting sex are dramatically different things. You perpetuating a typical stereotype, that results in men having low expectations getting gypped in relationships. I'm outspoken about gold diggers, but I don't spout stuff like "most girls are easy to understand...they want your money." A lot of heterosexual men want more than just sex, and hell they should expect more than just sex. Many of them are looking for an emotional intimacy that they can't get from other men without being called a "faggot" or some other nonsense. They want someone who wont nag them about what a real man would do whenever they talk about their problem.
It's bad, it's really bad. The irony of this all is you still see so many female scholarships and programs encouraging girls in school. Nothing is done about the boys.Originally Posted by Darkfire Knight

Not every-one is the same to begin with!
Who cares if you have nothing to wear!...... For me! I can have 2 closets FULL of clothes and because i have too many options i have nothing to wear!
that solves that problme for me!
But there's always 1 thing that stays the same! example;
A girls version of minutes when talking on the phone and/or changing clothes and a guys version of 5minutes when watching tv are the same!!
And if you knew everything about women and if women knew everything about men!! Life would be boring and it wouldn't be as fun to impress the other if you already knew what they'd like!!
thats all i have!! And i'm a girl btw.....
Hollywood hype @SuXrys ...any movie with Helen Hunt sucks.
HahahahaxD
The Llama flicked me off!
Previously Darkfire Knight....
Just proves women like the sound of their own posts...*le gif says more then 1000 posts*
Get a man, take away all reason and responsibility, and you've got yourself a woman!
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

I do not understand why most men (or most men that I have met, at least) are disgusted at the thought of a romance movie, novel, or song. Honestly, whats wrong with it? I mean, if its a sappy love story with a happy ending tarts so perfect its annoying, I understand. But what about a bittersweet romantic tragedy? I have yet to meet a guy who would say yes to something like that.
Oh and guns! Why do men like guns so much? I don't understand that either. I admit that I do like educating myself about types of guns and such (this is especially true when I am writing something that requires this knowledge) but I have guys who have gone as far as to compare women to guns. I've been complimented quite a number of times by this one guy in class. The most recent compliment, yeah, apparently I'm as beautiful as a Military and Police revolver. Should I face palm or should I be flattered?
Sure I can enjoy some romance. but a tragic ending aint really my thing though. I'm a sucker at these stuff I get to emotionally attached to it and I feel a little too sad afterwards. I just read through Katawa Shoujo and I have not felt this bad in years. Damn and that was mostly good endings xD
Oh and about the guns I'm not a gun maniac but I do like my fair share of guns. I mean you have to at least know your way around them when the zombies strike right :P

But the best endings are the ones that that really tug on your heart and force a few tears through! Or maybe that's just me. I mean, there are wonderful endings that are a lot happier too. Otherwise no one would read happy stories. Or, everyone would complain about them anyways.
And hey, noo. Not me! Just hand me some explosives and maybe a Flail or an axe or spear of some sort and I'm set.
"Wo"e unto men without women.
No but really, why is it when I ask a woman to do something, they lie to me to avoid hurting my feelings rather than telling me the truth up front. To be honest, it's more painful after I've been lied to than it would have been in an honest confession. It's avoiding as much personal responsibility to acknowledge me as a person to further yourself to address the truth in person.
I'm sleepy and drunk right now, I hope that made some sort of sense...
Oh look, another Gender thread, these always end well
With the risk of over-simplificating things, sometimes it has to do less with the GENDER of the person and a lot more with the personality of the person. About 50-60% of the things here that supposedly apply to just one gender can also apply to either gender.
This can apply to basically anyone, not just women, and not just guys. Perhaps you can ask said person why they're doing that?..based on personal experience, why does a girl whom you confessed with acts like she also likes you but tries to avoid you at times...? =.=
Sometimes understanding men or women is usually about as easy as understanding people in general.
