Anthony, with the new weapons that he acquired from Carlos, began to follow the guy and Stephen. Tara? He wondered who Tara was. A little escort work was his job now.

After the events that had transpired. Rain and Hana quietly waited at the curb of the street outside the apartments for their taxi. The taxi got there and they both climbed in. Rain still felt like he had messed things up, after the kiss. It was quiet amongst them and they said nothing to one another.
They finally got to the graveyard and they hopped out of the taxi.
"Well, this is where he is dead in the ground," he said to Hana.

Through the process of healing the thin ‘fingers’ would have slipped into the arm of Carlos. Working backwards she’d smooth the muscle that had been torn from the bone breaking. The bone itself would knit back together, setting as a whole. She’d then weave the muscle atop it, removing bacteria and debris if there were any present. Finally she would remove the tear in the skin with a smooth glide of a finger before calling back her unexplainable ability. Leaving her a little light headed and out of breath.
“Nnm’ you are welcome…”
Nodded at Carlos, stepping back from him then as she’d inspect her own injury, the sight of it bleeding seeming to make it sting more so, yet her attention was called up by the mention of a figure in black.
Only when the zoo man spoke, Oeno became aware of him, hearing him mention the man in black lifted her head and had her toes curling, recalling the shape that had stabbed a co-worker that very morning, herself still decorated with spatters of his blood. Breathing being as quick as it was would hardly increase further, despite the small thrill of fear that lashed up her back.
She was brought out of this gripping fear upon hearing her name. She wasn’t brave enough for this! Let alone some kind of solider to deal with it. Nevertheless she’d realise she was now well and truly a part of this, regardless to her determination beforehand to do the exact opposite.
Without much of an option on what to do she’d ready herself, going through her bag and removing one of the many tight wraps of bandage, this being a smaller one which she’d quickly use to cover the gashes upon her arm and hand. Her ability useless on herself, even so she was in no state to heal so quickly after Carlos. It was then that Stephen had another outburst.
Her movements paused a moment, flinching as he spoke of her. Wings ruffling would be the only other sign of his comment having bothered her, though she’d keep her mouth shut, head down. She’d work her teeth in splitting the end of the bandage and knotting it just above the joint of her thumb, hands then gripping the strap of her bag, awaiting the ‘arguments’ to finish so they could move on.

Jean stops the car and looks up as the F-35 swings over and hovers near by. Over the roar Jay yells. "Do you know where the girls are, we could really use their, and anybody elses, help on this!" Jean nods his head and gives a thumbs up, then focuses on his link to Miria, using it to guide him through the city. He keeps glancing upward and making sure the F-35 is keeping track of him as he weaves through the streets. Miria is a warm little glow in his mind just over there and he continues closing in on her. His thoughts stretch out and lightly nudge the edge of her mind, letting her know that he is heading her way.
Stephen listened to Carlos speak, making no further protest. He decided that it would be easier on everyone if he just went with the flow. Besides, he knew he was incredibly fast and could outrun just about anything. If need be, he'd make his escape and worry about where it took him later. In the mean time, it wouldn't hurt to try to collect a few more samples and learn some info while he was here. Maybe he would even come across something that would "break the case" so to speak.
Then the zoo keeper that had spoken of his hurt friends began tugging on Stephen's arm, trying to take him outside. Startled, Stephen looked at the guy, who was staring him right in the eyes.
"Please, help her. Help Tara."

"Alright then, if it's that important to you. Lead the way then."
He gave a glance back at Carlos and Oneo, making sure that was alright with them, then followed the man. He seemed highly grateful of Stephen cooperation and hurried him out of the building and towards a small gazebo. He went quickly, seemingly afraid Stephen might change his mind. It made Stephen wonder if he would indeed change his mind.
The man didn't speak again until they were almost inside the little wooden gazebo.
"The others got attacked earlier. Tara saw them lying there and went to help. And then... and then.. this guy in black shows up out of nowhere and stabs her in the back, she just falls over... I... I couldn't do anything. "
A pang of empathy shot through Stephen's chest for both the injured Tara and this man. He seemed close to tears, probably from both mourning (for the injured) and joy (for Stephen's cooperation).
Now they were inside the gazebo. The floor was slick with blood, shining deep crimson in the moonlight exactly how Oneo's did not too long ago. There was a number of crumbled forms laying defeated on the ground, many of them sporting a wide variety of puncture wounds all over their body. Others appeared harmless except for blood leaking silently, presumably from a crack in their skull. All around him bodies bled. Not one of them appeared to possess life. Stephen rounded on the man.
"I don't think I can heal them!" he said, his voice betraying the fear consuming his insides.
"You must, they need you!" the man said, tears streaming anew down his cheeks.
"You don't understand, these people are... they're dead. I can't save them."
"At least try! There must be something you can do!"
"I have never tried to resurrect the dead." Stephen admitted, turning away from the man. "The closest I've gotten is healing some potentially life-threatening injuries, and that just about knocked me out. So, assuming I could in fact save one, I wouldn't have the energy to repeat the feat."
"Tara! Save Tara then, please!" the man pleaded, taking hold of the back of Stephen's shirt. He then felt the man release his shirt, falling to his knees. Stephen didn't turn around, he knew the sight would break his heart.
What else was there to do? He already promised he would try to help, already admitted that it may be possible to save one. He would have to be an incredibly cold man to turn his back on this display of emotions. And Stephen was nothing if not a kind-hearted man. It got him hurt many times in the past in relationships and such, but this would be a different kind of pain. This could very well kill him.
What would happen if he failed? What would happen if he succeeded?
Am I worth more dead?
"Which one is Tara?" Stephen asked finally, feeling a few tears slide down his own cheeks.
"Here, she's over here!" said the man, jumping up excitedly and running over to a body not too far away.

She followed Samael back to the waiting room. And it was only right before he looked around the room and had his say, that Madison realised that she didn't know his name.
"By the way," she said to him after he finished talking, "You never told me your name. You don't have to, but I would like to know."

Kairos cleared his throat.
“I’m sorry. But I think I’ve overstayed my welcome. If you don’t mind. I’d like to be leaving now. Maybe we can meet another time.”
Kairos said this after he set his cup down and looked up at her. Kat had no idea what to think, but the nervous panicky feeling of doing something wrong started to form in her stomach. She needed to fix it somehow.
“If you would lead the way.”
“Wait!” Kat said, standing up from her chair suddenly, knocking over one of her tea cups in the process.
If she had not stood up when this happened, the tea would have gone all into her lap.
“We need to get you cleaned up. I am really sorry. I didn’t mean to offend you. We can talk about something else. Here.” She walked over to his end of the table and pulled him up by one of his arms.
“Let’s get you cleaned up, and then we can go do something. How does that sound?”
At that moment, Tama came prancing through the room and grinned at Kat while she was in the process of an attempted help; sarcasm brewing through his mind. He could say so many things about the current situation, but he chose to keep it to himself…for the time being.
“I’m sorry again. Is there anything else I can do besides get you a fresh shirt or something?” She gasped then. “Will you ever forgive me?”

“Look, Galen, I do not go around telling you how to act, so I would hope that you would show me the same respect and do the same. Also, I will talk to you about it in a little while, but not right now. Now is not the right time for that. I have a few things to do today, mostly for my bloody parents, and I don’t even have to help you, but I am. Why? Because I want to. It is a nice thing to do, and it is the right thing to do.”
She paused for a second before a slight grin curved her lips as she looked up at met Galen’s eyes with hers again.
“By the way, you aren’t too shabby at this sarcasm thing yourself.”

Kiyoshi was feisty, wasn’t she? One minute it was all fine and dandy, the next, she was confronting him full on. But after that, her mood seemed to switch again. Either she was bipolar, confused, or she really had a change of heart in the middle of the confrontation.
All in all though, she was being nice, and she was trying to help, and…she was really attractive when she was angry. She was trying though, and ever Galen saw that. So he decided it would be best to just go with it. He was also curious about what she might have to talk to him about.
Even though he was worried about the whole stitching his shoulder up thing, after watching what she did in the field, and just the way she went about things, he would in the end just let her have her way. What harm could it do? Besides, didn’t she say something about stitching up the Samuel kid, or whatever his name was? If he wasn’t complaining about that with his sparkling personality, Galen knew that it couldn’t be that bad.
Did she really notice the sarcasm thing? Well she was right on. “Thanks I guess. But anyway, fine. I’ll show you the way, if you promise not to freak out on me again. It might get you into some trouble.” He looked and Reina, continuing. “Come on, let’s go.” Then Galen started walking in front of the two of them, leading the way to the nurse’s office.
"Sorry, sarcasm. My bad."
"Well, we can stand around, or go. Wanna go see if we can look into Anton's mind? It might be kinda interesting, perhaps we'll get something. Perhaps something else?"
"So?"

“Thank I guess. But anyway, fine. I’ll show you the way, if you promise not to freak out on me again. It might get you into some trouble.”
He continued.
“Come one. Let’s go.”
Kiyoshi stood there for a few moments, watching as Galen and Reina had begun to walk away from her, down the hall, and to where she presumed the nurses’ office would be—according to Galen.
She did not like it very much when people walked in front of her, even in situations that called for it. She thought that nobody could be trusted, nor should they be. Kiyoshi had no reason to trust anybody, for any reason at all; therefore, walking beside them would be the best option. That way, no matter what happened, she might have a chance of having an advantage if said situation gave way to needing something of the sort.
Without hesitation, she too, began her way down the hall of the Physics Building again.
“So,” she began, coming up in between Reina and Galen as she spoke, “what did you two think of the Liger? It is pretty strange if you ask me. Things around kapok Bay have been a little…off lately. Don’t you think?”
She looked at Galen and Reina equally whilst speaking, but she kept on wanting to focus more of her attention on Galen. The liger incident was not the strange thing that she was getting at, nor was the task at hand. She was more so intrigued by the note in her pocket, and the resolution of events that had occurred before, during, and after the liger attack; and Galen was one of the main pawns in play.

Samael looked around the room and noticed that no one there needed any sort of medical attention... he snapped, throwing the first aid kit against the wall with a shout, "Bloody bullocks!" The throw was rather pitiful and the first aid kit hit the wall not even leaving a dent before falling to the ground and vomiting up its less-than-copious contents.
The guy checking people in looked at him, "Oh yeah, the person who was injured is gone."
"You think?" Samael snapped back at him, "What bloody tipped you off? The fact not a single person is bleeding, save for the intellect that is positively hemorrhaging from your insightful observation?"
The man rolled his eyes, clearly too lazy to make any effort in his response "Yeah the girl you brought her, took care of him."
"Kiyoshi? That bloody wench always causes me to waste my bloody time."
He turned back to the girl behind him, "My name? Tch... its Samael Samigina, alright? Now be quiet or I might say screw the moral law and start killing people. The urge to kill is already high."

Frederick sighed closing the book in his hands. The skittering shards of his past self were trying desperately to rearrange themselves into their proper form but with force of will he denied them this. If he was to do what was needed, he could not afford freedom. Freedom was a curse he was free from and he did not want its chains upon him. No.. better these safe chains, then those of barbed wire.
He sighed and headed for the roof... slowly and with a gentle gait... moving toward what would be the true test of his faithfulness to his fate.

As everyone had begun to depart Oeno decided to leave also. She’d make her way to the entrance, already applying her harness back on, wings as always straining against the leather in protest.
“Tranquilizer guns….should be by the uh…Gorillas…”
She’d duck out, expecting him to follow. Still with the Ocra’s in mind she’d rush across path, ducking behind a map stand in the shape of a parrot, they’d have some 600ft to go now. Luckily she knew all the safe and small places to hide.

Kairos just smiled at her.
"It's nothing. Stop saying sorry. My shirt will be fine." He ran his hand down it. A quick breeze ran around it and it shifted away into a new shirt. The tea marks were gone. He looked back at her.
"See no problem." He pointed at the lack of stain. "However I think you need to clean up your area a bit now. I'll see myself out."
He didn't know why but he patted her on the head. And for a brief moment saw flashes of something from her past. But he both didn't want to look nor was fast enough to pick them up. He just moved his hand away and began to walk out the house.

She's petite and nimble so she can handle easy, small spaces. I, on the other hand am taller and a little buff. I will have to be extra careful where I go since I'm a little bigger. Here we go.
Carlos exited and began following Oneo, climbing onto the roof of the marsupial house and following Oneo via that route.
I will have to use ducts and HVAC units to my advantage. This day just keeps getting better. I just hope the girl can see me on the roof.
Anthony realized that they aren't paying any attention to their surroundings. He got the feeling it's delicate stuff that's going on, so he didn't want to interupt. He began to look around and saw the shimmer that might be an Orca in that area up in the sky. However, the cover from the Gazeebo is keeping them hidden for the time being from it so far as he could tell. He might do as well keeping that bit to himself and just try to insiper confidance. He ran outside, hopefully to get its attention.

Stephen followed the zoo employee over to another body. It was a female, a very attractive African-American woman. She looked to be slightly younger than himself. She wore a black zoo uniform (the same kind that the man kneeling next to her wore) with a wide puncture wound over her chest. Her blood was leaking everywhere, soaking her uniform, her long black hair, and the wooden floor beneath her. Her eyes were closed, her expression blank. She smelled strongly of congealed blood.
"She's dead." Stephen said simply, eyeing the proof.
"But you can help her! Please!"
He sighed. He was wading into waters he'd never been in before.
Resolved, Stephen joined the man kneeling next to her. He reached his hand over her face and opened her eyes. They stared blankly over his shoulder, looking at something that wasn't there anymore. He shifted over to the right so that her eyes met his. They were blank as ever, though he thought he saw a shadow of something behind them. Something that would help him find her and bring her out.
His eyes brightened again. His vision was almost immediately lost in a brilliant flare. The splendor dazzled him, but then the pain came. He was engulfed in it. It penetrated to his extremities, from his head to his toes. It felt like a million hot knives being driven into his skin. Then he didn't feel anything.

"Is that a building? Maybe someone could answer my questions there" So Daisuke headed there as far as he could and he opens the door. When he went inside he spot it two people that seem nice so he asked, "Hello there, where am I?"
She would duck and weave her way to their destination; having glanced back a while ago she had spotted Carlos on the roofs above. Shaking it off she’d focus on taking the quickest path to the Gorillas.
After a while of quick steps and tense, crouching behind hedges they’d eventually come to the Gorillas. She’d peer into their den moving along and finding all the monkeys were accounted for.
Her yes flicked around, still tense as she’d fumble for they keys in her pocket, unlocking the door to the small shed and opening it, revealing the tranquilizer rifles, pistols, and various first aid supplies.
Reaching in she’d take out the rifles and the three boxes of darts set beside them, glancing back in wait for Carlos to catch-up.

The coast is clear. Time to move for the items.
Carlos hopped on more rooftops, eventually reaching the roof of the primate exhibit. He climbed down a side ladder and ran in. Looking at Oneo, he said...
"Damn you and your nimble nature. You had the advantage of hiding. I had to go onto the roofs due to my slightly larger build. Setting that aside, you got what we need?"
Anthony saw a small flash come from the Gazebo. Looking over, he saw the African American girl start caughing. The guy from the zoo starts hugging her, and he thought he might hear him cry a little. Stephan however has fallen over unconcscious.
He also saw Oneo and the Orca running off away from him towards somewhere else. She seems to be making good use of cover. The possible Orca form isn't drifting away any more and it might have spotted him but it's a little hard to tell. Lovely.
Anthony decided to move over to Stephan and pull him and the others out. Keeping his gun and eyes toward the figure.

Miria paused and looked around for a moment. She felt someone was coming near her and fast. Miria looked at Ted and smirked.
"I think its worthless. I think he might have a blocker or something or he's just good at keeping his mind blank. I tried to read it once....there was nothing. Completely emptiness and I highly doubt he could be a zombie. And on the plus side....someone's coming."

Anthony was able to grab hold of Stephan and carry him on his back. This enabled him to use his weapons and carry Stephan at the same time.
The Orca form now seems to be bearing in on him. There might be more than one as well.
The closest shelter is the building he just came from. He figured he could probably make the run even with Stephan on his back but the zoo guy had mentioned some "guy in black" in there so that building might not be safe.
The next closest building that is a proper building and not a little food vender hut and is in a direction away from the form is the Koala habitat.
Anthony decided to take the chance to move over to the second closest building. He moved with such speed and began firing off his M3 to the possible forms he saw. He wasn't sure if he hit them or not but he'd rather be safe than sorry. He felt the weight of Stehpan bearing down on him so he was slowed a little but not too much. In time, he made it to the building and sealed it shut. He then set down Stephan and looked around for anymore Orcas.

"Wait? Anton's a scientist and not a zombie? Strange.
"Hmm, who is it?"
Ted began to start humming to himself, inside his mind he began to build up a stronger, louder, and harder beat. The music in his mind started to clash, the bass line building, something inside his mind screamed, after a few seconds of this he began to turn blue. And *shifted*. Pulling up the hood on his shirt,
"Sorry, wanted to be able to understand the person coming. I'm bad with new people."
Madison picked up the first aid kit (and all it's contents) that Samael threw against the wall. She peered into her bag and said, "Well, I have a box-cutter in here... Somewhere..."
She turned around to face the boy.
"I think we're in the Physics Building at Kapok University," she replied, "I don't know. I just moved here so I'm just following Samael around." Madison gestured towards him with a cheeky smile.
"Apparently there is a survey going on in that-" Madison pointed towards the door "-room concerning Shifters. And they apparently pay $50 if you participate. I would ask the guy behind the desk if you want any more information."

Hana walked forward and looked down at the grave. She hated graveyards and it took every bit of her mind to keep her from running. She hated knowing that death lingered there and one day, she’d be trapped there, too. It sent an uncomfortable chill up her spine and she felt herself shiver slightly.
Shrugging it away, she looked at Rain, “I’m sorry…about your Grandfather.” She looked at the ground and thought, desperately trying to find something else to say. Placing a hand on Rain’s shoulder, she let out a sigh. “It must have been hard for you. Losing him like that. I don’t know how close you two were but, it still must have been difficult.” Part of her was thinking about Jez, too. She had remembered that her sisters five year old pbody was buried in that same graveyard and she looked around.
“I-I think Jez is here, too.”
