Let's see for manga, can't beleive how hard it is to find a rather short one! Nurarihyon no mago, is also a very long one:/ 200 chapters I believe. Has an incomplete anime to it aswell. However I found it highly entertaining.
Sakamichi no appolon just pops into my brain eventhough it's more fun to watch the anime. It's slice of life and settles arround making friends through music (jazz).
Attack on titan, it's still ongoing but so damn good.
I like reading Blood Lad, but they don't make chapters weekly. More of a monthly release I think.
Btooom! Also a good one! Best to describe as the baby there would be if "Sword Art online" and "The Hunger Games" had coitus.
Ofcourse Death Note is by far worth the read. Best manga I ever read.
High School of The Dead is also fun but also a bit arousing :P.
That's all I can pop in my head at the moment. Not really much of a help since there aren't any really short compelted ones in there. Koroku no baske is fun to, but also long. Can only think of long ones it seems haha.
Ever seen detroit metal city by any chance? That stuff is hilarious.
