I just watched episode 1 of Lucky star

Watching the opening is more than enough to say that's overly cutesy. The show's strength lies in cultural and fan references. It's slice of life comedy. They usually start out slow and pick up steam after an episode or two.

Why is it the only threads you've started have been to trash shows? I'll respect your opinion, but it's a bit on the flamebait side.

I'm just suggesting to not base an anime off only one episode. But meh, it doesn't matter to me. Some animes are terrible from episode 1 to the last.

Lucky Star is one of my favourite animes. . .

But to be honest, the first couple episodes are really, really boring. . . But once you watch the later episodes it gets more interesting. =)

Also, there are a lot of anime references in Lucky Star as well, so it's fun to spot the references. . . xD

Opinions okay people!! Man, there was this one thread about lucky star and people kept on blabbering about how they hate or like this show.
The haters vs. the lovers, don't make it repeat now.

I also found the first episode boring, I stopped watching the show but my friend insisted that I continue watching so I did and found out it was quite a good anime for the ones who are stressed and just wants to laugh.
But some people will probably won't laugh at the gags of the characters though heck I didn't laugh at all of em!!
