Just spending it here with meh pookie and family =3
Though, Id love to go to Ireland and visit family over there, but my mom developed a fear of flying =/

Geeze holidays? What am I doing. I'm hopping a plane to New York for christmas, where I plan on not paying for food. (Or having anyone pay for me)

Thanksgiving(taking) I dunno though. I don't know if my family is doing anything because I haven't been home in a week, and I certainly can't couch surf over the holidays. My recently acquired boy is doing a vegan dealy with a friend of mine, and that's just...

Thanksgiving has past for me already. Canadian, it was in October. I think someone asked me that somewhere. It's really a blur. ;_;
Aaron came here for thanksgiving. ^_^;

Christmas is well coming, but you know... It's still November.
As it stands though Aaron is supposed to come here for Christmas this year, and spend it with me and my family. My aunt from Cali usually flies down for the holidays and other than that it's usually a small celebration. ^_^; Despite the entire house being decorated, more food than anyone can possibly eat, christmas music all over the house and the christmas type clothing.... yea it's a big thing in my house.

Sadly, never. But that may change in the future, as we're trying to get a lot of staff to meet up in NYC, but it's hard, as everyone's finances are different. But, I believe it will happen. I would love to visit Igor, and the rest of the staff! I've known him for about 6 years now though, through IM's, Chat, and PM's. I've talked to him on the phone multiple times too. He's a good guy! And his accent is *cute*!

If you all are comeing over to NYC, then i might aquire the location of your "group get-together" and spook all of you >P. Just kidding, but it would be nice to see all of you because i only live 2 hours away from NYC. I live on Long Island unfortunately, (i suck at spelling people, get over it =P) but i might be able to go to NYC and get to see some of you guy's if you ever show up.

But anyway, another question:
Have any of you crashed a computer before? Im just really curious to see if some/most of you are bad with computers like me =3

I just got this horrible virus from a friend and she didn't even know it was a virus. My mom reformated the hard drive, so i hope it's ok now. And that's the only reason i got banned from chat today. The virus kept copying itself and pasting itself into the in chat, so i got kick for spamming >< freaking suck's. But meh.

Any other mods/admins have any trouble with this kind of thing?

Well, a few nights ago some wierd programs on my computer kept trying to access the internet (McAfee noticed these and informed me of it, so I could block and then move the programs into folders where they couldn't do anything). I ran AdAware and all these spywares kept appearing, over and over.

Then I ran a virus check with McAfee - which we hadn't used since August - and 30-something trojans and PUPs (whatever THAT is) were detected. o_O

Nothing bad happened, not since my computer was almost destroyed by spyware a few months ago, but still...wow.

I used to live out on Long Island ;p Uniondale to be precise. That's over near Hempstead if you're not familiar with it.

As for crashing...weeeeell, not really. I'm not terribly hard on computers the way some other members of my family are.

I haven't really crashed my comp before. Had a bad run in with some spyware back in college, but haven't had anything major recently.

Computer crashing, no. But there was a time where my screen broke and would only display a few fragments of whatever I was looking at.
As for viruses, Ive had a few, but nothing extremly bad. Just spy ware, which would give me a few pop ups, but thats all gone now =3

Have I crashed a computer?? I've got a crappy computer so my answer would be yes. On many occasions. The comp needs more RAM among other things.

For the record... I've never actually crashed a computer. It crashed itself. I've had two hard drives die on me. Once all of the data was irrecoverable, the next time I got a good number of my files back (although I keep most of my files in an external... so I wasn't going to lose much as is.)

Meh hubby is a member here, but not staff ^_^ There's also my sister and an old friend, but neither of them come around anymore.

Ive texted Dolly (staff) a few times. I also talk to some members via AIM or YIM, but no one (staff or member) lives around me =/

^_^ I've a fair few friends that aren't other mods/admins here that I talk to on at least a weekly basis. It's usually by phone or IM....rarely in chat. O_o;;
My very best friends aren't found on this site, one used to be a regular here during the days of tux, but she's busy with school and work mostly these days and I don't know when she was last on here. T_T
