Men get men problems too; it's just that they rarely talk about them.

Men are not mind readers. Some women expect to get what they want by sending signals 'telepathically'. But the signals are often missed. -_-

Thanks to Ms Lucy for this awesome, funny gif.
The person that you are now is not the person that I used to know. You're becoming a stranger that I've never met before. Not liking the change though.
Well I guess men traits and woman traits depend a lot on the environment too, not just self development. ;U So you should grow up around pie and cookies and you'll be fine.
Our passion for sports or/and Sports in general.
You know it's true, for a lot of women/girls.
Let's play "Spot the Stereotype!"
Now, can you answer the $7500 question? "Which of the preceding statements is offensive: the first, the second, the third, or a combination of two or more? Which ones?"I don't understand why girls just can't drive worth a damn, or why they're so awful at math. And why do they always jump up and down in groups giggling like that?
Let's go back and examine that second one:
Better question: Why does an arbitrary passage of time hold significance? Is the Gregorian calendar magical? Is a year's passing significant more so than the constant passage of time?it seems that a man can apparently forget birthdays and anniversaries, yet have no problem remembering the date of every forthcoming [Insert national sports event here]
I'm legitimately serious about this.
I would think that two people who really care about one another would be more concerned with the constant passing of time together than any particular interval that comes and goes. I don't even mean that in a sappy, romantic way- if you know me you can trust this much. It just seems that an actual year spent together would be more significant than the marking of that year's passing.
Then again, I never have understood New Year's celebrations.
All this beside your obnoxious assumption that men like sports. From what I can tell it's forced upon boys at an early age, and they are mocked and coerced if they don't acquiesce to it. It's not even necessarily the fathers or other men who do it; my mother tried to put me on all sorts of sports teams when I was little. (The sight would garner pity chased by laughter, and I can't really fault anyone for the laughter.) It was my father- a man who has a penchant for telling people to do obscene things to themselves in lieu of saying, "No."- who let me choose to do as I pleased. It wasn't the men who thought I had to like sports, it was the women, too, and the girls and the boys. The whole culture was in on it.
Honestly, I just think that there are far too many people who can't, don't or won't understand the notion that thinking can be playing.
It's the same inexplicable phenomenon that ensures that a murdered kid will only be referred to as "All-American" if he played a sport, most likely football, with baseball a secondary possibility.
It's entirely a cultural meme, and accordingly it can be broken, defied, subverted, or altogether inverted. Its known form is also a caricature, right up there with the notion that everyone in New York is constantly shouting profanities and vulgarities at everyone else within earshot.

In my experience, neither men nor women are terribly direct. Basic social norms cause all kinds of nonsense to spew forth from the mouths of (wo)men.
People like lies so long as those lies serve them and are relatively benign, and so long as they can expect reliable forms and uses. The frequency with which they are employed seems to engender a sort of tolerance, an indifference. You all insist otherwise, but by God, when I ask if I'm bothering you, man or woman you always politely deny it before eventually getting fed up with me a few minutes later, hissing out "Can't you see you're bothering me?" and taking my earnest response, "Well, I did ask..." as if it's a smart remark.
"Tell me what you think," or "I want your honest opinion," are absolute bear traps. Silly me, when someone says that I'm still wont to take their word at it, and I forge ahead with abandon. A good sixty to eighty percent of the time, though, it seems they expect me to give a predetermined opinion, not my own. (I never have been good at that game...)
Don't start whining about the difficulties of indirect and implied communications unless you're fully prepared to knock it off yourselves. The easiest solution would be to shut up and wait patiently for others to explain their motivations, but unfortunately there's always some goon that ruins it all by lying to gain advantage, and then no one can count on such brutal honesty until you get to know someone else well. Problem there, of course, is how in Hell do you get to know someone in the first place without the initial assumption of honesty?

I know this was a very long post, but sometimes it's the implied and unacknowledged assumptions of a discussion that get me the most riled up.
Communication is human, independent of gender. The associated difficulties are also so universal, excepting the even more absurd matter of unjustifiable memes and taboos.

If I don't understand someone, it isn't because of their gender, but rather their personality. If you talk to me an help me understand you, than I will, I won't understand someone who keeps me in the dark.

I wasn't saying that all men like sports. I just don't understand why men and also women get riled up with professional sport teams. Maybe, I just don't get it, because I live in Minnesota. Although we give a lot of money to athletes to play on our sport teams, it just doesn't compare to how much athletes to paid to play on sport teams in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, etc.
[QUOTE=Immoral:26This is a forum, lol. You made a general comment about men that was quite far from the truth. You don't have to ask me anything for me to reply.[/QUOTE] It was a joke...get over it.

I'm really not gifted.
Reading both these threads. I feel sorry for all of you posting "men just want sex roflcopterBBQ!!11!!!1!" and vice versa on another related subject.
Most posters are making sweeping sexist generalisations that for 90% of people are irrelevant, mainly becuase media has somewhat portrayed women as clingy over emotional retards and men as apathetic sex craving lunatics.
You don't make threads about "what one creed doesn't understand about another" or "what once race doesn't understand about another". How is this different? Both threads are pretty unneeded.

Honestly, I think both girls and guys have issues. But girls and guys have a different thought process in general and so it becomes a language barrier that keeps us from understanding each other. With that said tho, I feel guys are still a little worse than girls.
The shy guys are really hard to read.
how about this. For both men and women!
If you criticize and dislike the kind of people (of different gender and yes same gender to boot) you associate with.
ASSOCIATE WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE.
This is not about the gender of someone, you're making rash sexist generalizations (yep using them bog words again!) based on the people you associated with or had experience with.
Individualism is dead according to these threads, quick every one spike your hair, wear a crappy affliction shirt, go to the Jersey Shore and get STD's!

I think I have a whole list:
- Why you ignore her just to finish your game
- Why you say you're too busy to meet, but actually just wanna sleep til 12
- Why that other girl is extremely nice to you
- Why you can't make your own sandwhiches
- Why you don't have the decency to fart/burp elsewhere
- Why you wear your boxers inside out to wear it just one more day
- Why you bought a new psp, but say you don't have the money for flowers for your parents in law
- Why you dance with her once, but ignore her the other day
- Why you're eating garlic and onions right before a date or on the date
- Why you don't ever take care of those disgusting feet you got
I can go on for a bit, but I think you got it by now

Onew by Ωmega"If my joy brings you happiness, I am thankful"
That is a hell of a lot of assumptions that you've made here. Please, offer some instances in which one or more of these is validated and proven true.
@Chigumi - That list is ridiculous. I've never known any guy to do those.

Tomorrow's a new day.
Why do guys have nipples?
Tru Fax: Princess Minako wrestled Jesus... and won
@Erised no no lets just now assign us all code names seeing as the point I eloquently made fell on deaf ears, and our personalities, character traits and all round identities are now based on our gender.
Right:
For Guys: The Situation 1, The Situation 2, The Situation 3 etc etc
For Gals: Snookie 1, Snookie 2, Snookie 3, Snookie 4 etc etc
