When my dog Bear was about two or three years old, we learned that he was able, with very little effort, to escape a harness.
The other awesome trick he had was more of a battle plan. When faced with a vicious dog, he would latch on to their lip(?) and stand there. If they pulled away they risked tearing off their own face. He would seriously put them on lock until their owner got control, then he'd let go. You cannot imagine my surprise when I realized this was not just a one-time fluke.
My cats can open doors, get into the frame of my dresser, turn on faucets, and pretty much everything else that is inconvenient for a cat to do on it's own >.>
It's kinda funny to wake up in at 2 in the morning with all the cats in my room, door wide open, and hear running water from the next room -.-;
Other than that my pets are all too dumb to do any tricks.

My kitty can escape his harness too. But I think it's my neice taking it off, and not really the cat.
My friends cat can open doors and turn his computer on or off.
my cats are well stupid, they are both male, and well I think they be homosexuals. but one thing they can do in an apartment full of guys is clear a room. that is their only trick, they will walk into the middle of the room and fart. I think my roommate Justin thought them that. its horrible, simply horrible.

[my stuff] I make my sigs.
When one bad reps, its a common curtsy to leave one's name. So one can return the favor, in kind.

One of my kittens can run into walls. Beat that!

This sigs was made by a girl named ♥Miss.Bun Bun♥
darn someone played the escape game before I got a look in the thread!
Well reversing out of a harness is one thing -- digging out of the fenced in garden is another! And tis what our Husky managed - without getting noticed for ages till she came back to the main gate -- awaiting someone to open it for her!
Reversing out of harnesses, collar and once or twice out of a choke chain (reversing before the links close). Provides hours of tracking - and you cannot catch her --- way way too quick to catch!

My dog is the protector to the gate of the Underworld. Lol beat that.
The coolest pet trick I've seen from our pets, hmm ... my pet rabbit Charlie picking up his toy ball with his teeth and throwing it out of the hutch and him playing dead is pretty funny. The coolest though is when my dad feeds our cat her supper at night, she has some biscuit type things that are supposed to be good for her teeth and she puts her paw out and taps my dad's hand for her treat to be given to her, neat huh? ^^

My German-Shepherd knows Sit, Lay, Touch (AKA jumps up and touches your hand with his nose), go get him!, go away, and go lay down.
He is such an obediant dog, he mostly just sits their looking out the window seeing if somebody comes down our path, then barks like mad if someone does.

My dog used to kill small native wildlife in my old wooded neighborhood, I once found a dying goanna, and the head and front paws of some possum-type creature. We've recently moved to suburbia, where a cat made the mistake of coming into our living-room's worth of backyard the other night. So now a cat has joined the jury that'll send my dog to hell when he dies.
And funnily enough, he's without a doubt the most WIMPY dog I've ever seen around people!....makes me worry if maybe all my wrestling around with him is gonna get me put on the jury one day too.....
my rose can play dead and my zoue can do "good morning sir" she also stands on her hindlegs and dances around. She also plays "shame" by putting her paws infront of her eyes and laying on the ground.
My cat can open up all of the doors and windows in our house.

My cat comes in and out of our apartment by opening doors. But a lot of cats do that, so I don't really think of it as a trick... Well, my other (female) cat can climb almost anywhere in my flat. I say almost anywhere cuz she haven't climbed on the ceiling yet. -.- crazy cat

I saw, on Pet Star, a dog that could ride in a remote controled car and one that could skateboard!! Um, my cat...like poison.ivy's and "Red"s she can open up all the doors and windows in our house...and amazingly she can swim!!! I know, she can swim!! And yes, she is still a cat...nothing has changed in that past second.

My dog can play "hide and seek."

For other people's, their's alot that I've seen, and I can't remember ><;

Wow, such amazing tricks everyone. As for me, the most amazing trick that I've ever seen was when my Goldfish literally jumped out of the water when I shined a light at them(I know, that's mean, but I just wanted to see how they'd react).
Oh, Hi-deeki, imagine... your kind not eating raw fish! ^_^

My cat Syd didn't perform "tricks," he was all about style.
He once managed to get into a plastic bag, inside a closed cabinet, inside a closed room...all because there was a catnip bag inside that plastic bag. I discovered him with his head in the bag of catnip. Maddest cat-high ever. He was absolutely Houdini reincarnated.
Another time we were re-tiling the bathroom ceiling which left some rafters exposed. I walked in there to find him hanging upside down, paws wrapped around the rafter, tail hanging straight down. He jumped down before I managed to locate my camera ;__;
Along with Syd we had a younger cat, Cammie. She was in the habit of following him EVERYWHERE, much to his chagrin. One day, Syd went to the back door demanding to be let out, Cammie on his heels as usual. I opened the screen door. Syd darted out, Cammie darted out. Then, Syd stopped, turned quickly, hopped over Cammie's head and managed to get back in just before the door closed, leaving her outside alone. I watched him stalk away proudly, watched her staring at the door in confusion, and nearly died laughing. When cats fool cats.
Oh I have a hundred stories I could relay about Syd. The way he climbed the walls in the living room, the way he would balance on the porch railing and meow at us through the screen when he wanted to come in (so he could see us and we could see him), the way he showed a keen intelligence I had never seen before in a cat. I don't imagine I ever will again, actually.
