Weird sleeping habits?

Though I can't sleep in the middle of a pillow. I have to sleep on the edge so I can breathe.

^This. I also prefer sleeping on the edge of the bed rather than against the wall or something. I mostly sleep on my stomach but if I turn to lay on my back, I'll have my bedcovers up to my nose X3 I'm scared of something falling on my mouth or something Owo Had a dream about poisonous spiders that did that. XD;

I have a habit of going to bed with the sheets on and the quilt nicely covering the bed.. To waking up and the bed sheets are comming off and the quilts are all messed up.. So I pretty much gave up on mking the bed every night.. I go to bed as is.. :P

I also had a really wierd dream years ago.. I was having a dream that a spider was attacking me, and it managed to catch me as I tried to run away. I woke up in shock, from being eaten by this spider.... When I relised something.. I had my hands crossed over each other, like pincers. And I was doing the actions of the spider eating me.. I thought that was really wierd...... I hope thats understandable.. Its hard to properly descibe, sorry.. :S

We must both sleep like Akane in Ranma ½, just moves around to much in our sleep and hurt everyone around us with out elbows. xD

Well another sleeping habit that I come to think about now is that I usually wake up in the morning, get dressed and ready, just for going back to bed. Then I have rush away to school some time later. Weird or not I don't know, but defently a sleeping habit.

Oh I got too many to tell. But once I slept next to a friend, and I swaer he was sleeping sober, but he started mumbling weird things in his sleep. One of the things he said was "But it's cheaper with a mustache". Woke him up after five minutes and he said he didn't recall a thing. Not even the day after.

I have to sleep on my side, either pressed against my husband's back, or not touching anything when facing the other way. That or i lay on my back, arms flopped up over my head and my legs sprawled out, not letting anything touch me.

I usually wake up early if I got to sleep early, so sometimes I wake up a 2 a.m. and can't fall back to sleep. I also sleep in very odd positions when I can't go sleep, somehow it works, kind of like @SuXrys picture.

EDIT: I also have to sleep against something like a wall, that's why my bet is always touching one side of the room.

Also, has anyone ever heard of sleep paralysis? I get that, too. A lot. And it's terrifying most of the time.

This happens to me if I sleep on my back. I usually...gosh this is awkward to explain...I usually "jolt" myself awake. By that I mean I can feel my body tensing I guess and I sit up extremely fast. It is a terrifying experience.

Walk
I have barked like a dog once according to my fiance
Laugh
Scream
Screamo (I don't know why I do this but my die-hard Christian aunt saw this and thought I was possessed. .-.)
I sleep with my eyes open sometimes and it makes me look like I am dead
Freak out my girlfriend by doing any of these things when we sleep in the same room
I also have to sleep with my fiance's back to my chest in a spooning position but with clothes on and I have to have an arm under her neck and one around her stomach or waist.

I tend to snore really loud. XD And I used to yell at my brother in my sleep. There is a time when I was around 8 where I remembered me and my brother went to sleep in my mom's bed with her and she told us in the morning we were yelling at each other and having a small conversation in our sleep. XD One thing I do in my sleep that's a little more habitual is I breathe for a little wile then completely stop for a short period of time then breathe again.

Lol xD. I have to sleep against a wall, also. I always sleep with my 25 stuffed animals I've had since I was 6, and my husband has to make room for himself, xD.

My mom said that I used to growl like a bear/lion in my sleep, and sometimes, when I'm falling asleep, I feel like I'm falling through the air and that scares the poop out of me. Back when I was young, probably from the ages of 4-16, I used to scream really crazily and loud, which really freaked out my 3 brothers and my parents. But I still slept through it. I remember one time, I think I was 6 or 7, that I sleptwalk into the main hallway, fell down and hit my head, and thought the really scary dream I was having was real O.o. I screamed myself hoarse that time. It was really freaky, I thought I was being chased by evil shadows throughout the house, so I ran everywhere O.o.

Apparently, I've been know to be a sleepwalker that can interact with people like I was awake. One time I alledgely (they probably made it up, lol) drove my car while I was sleepwalking (to the next corner, or so they say). And up until I was 15, I had this really really freaky recurring dream. Basically, I'd be about 4-5 again, but I was all alone in this huge apartment house. Well, there was one room full of creepy dolls (I hate those things) and one room that just felt totally evil. But in the living room area, it felt really, really bad and just plain evil. After intering that room, I'd see a beam of red light coming from a little hole in the floor, right by a wall (The whole apartment is extrememly dark, and this was the only light). I'd then crouch on my knees and look into the red light.

And I'd be looking into this murder room-type place, with blood nearly everywhere. And then it would feel like someone just grabbed me from behind, making me scream (also in real life), and then a bloody eyeball would hit my right on my face. I'd fall through the floor, into the murder room, and then I'd hear creaking above from where I fell. There was a single, metal door that looked like something from a dungeon that I could go through. So I'd open it, only to find a room full of dead bodies. And then the creaking would get closer. So I'd scream (out loud again) and run from the room and try to climb up the tunnel. I'd slip on what I think (I can't remember this part too much) was blood, and go sliding down into the killer room again. Except this time, I'd look into the room where the dead bodies were, and they'd be gone. So I'd go in there, go up the stairs into this really, really red room. I swear, everything in there was red. Then, I'd hear the creaking again, so I'd run out into the hall, where there was a teenage boy (My older brother, actually) hanging from the ceiling with a licorice (my dreams are weird) string around his neck. Once again, I'd scream, but this would be really loud.

So I'd run again, this time out the door, and back into my "apartment." I'd then go into the doll room, where Chucky's female cousins were up and about. I'd scream and run from that room right into the evil room, where all the dead bodies awaited me. I'd turn around, and then a knife would head straight for my face, causing me to wake up. Everytime I had that dream, I could not go to sleep for another day, I was so afraid of it. Everytime I woke up from the dream, I was always in a different room, which was usually my older brother's (the one who was hanging). I'm glad I'm rid of that dream, for sure.

I have to sleep with a this large plush god I have. He has to be placed at the cornet of my bed against the wall and my pillow beside it. I cannot sleep with out a large body pillow and I hold my phone close as I sleep, I just like having something in my hand. I toss and turn a lot through the night and experience sleep paralysis time to time but usually if I am sick.

I don't know if you would call it weird, but I had this obsession with sleeping on the lounge
instead of a bed like you would naturally. I overcame this habit eventually.

The lounge was just so uncomfortable in the end. T^T

When I was 4-5 I used to scream and yell in dreams and wake up my parents and my brother.
Later at 7-8 I used to be half asleeped and walk around. My parents told me that once, I tried to unlock the front door of my house. - I didn't remeber doing that though.

The first one is called are called night terrors. It's due to the fact that your central nervous system isn't fully grown yet. It's the same thing with sleep walking. Although night terrors are rather rare. About 5% of children suffer from them, during ages 3-6 years old.

As for me, I have a habit of sleeping with a body pillow, which I hold and snuggle like it's a real person. I've been sleeping like this for a few years now.

@SuXrys - What you say in your sleep shouldn't be embarrassing, since most of the time Sleep talkers don't make sense. It's just your nervous system reacting while you sleep; similarly to having a random twitch while your laying in bed. You have nothing to worry about. (:

I sleep really quietly and everything must be still (like the bed), or I won't be able to fall asleep. That's the reason I can't share a bed with people who move a lot >_> (namely my sister), it irritates the heck out of me. Apparently I don't move at all when I sleep, either. I've been known to sleepwalk because of stress when I was much younger, and I have close to no impression of these episodes. Something weird...hmm...I need to have something soft to lean against when I sleep, the main reason I have a bolster. It was probably cultivated from young.

I mostly dream of grotesque things, like how I took a nap just now, and then dreamed about a mother murdering her infant with a knife (lol). Dreams often merge into one another.

For a few weeks now, my sleeping patterns have totally changed, which I think is weird. I used to go to bed at midnight every night, then get up early at 6 a.m. and be totally fine. Sleeping 6 hours a night was perfectly fine for me, that's what makes the sleeping for 8 or 9 hours so weird. If you were to leave me alone just to sleep on any given night, at any given time, i would wake up exactly six hours later, totally refreshed. I've always been like that.

I've been known to sleep walk and do random tasks (ie talking down my laundry). Aparently you can have a semi-cohearent conversation with me. I never have any sort of recolection of this though. Also I have a large stuffed dog that I sleep with on top of me.

Well, I'm home for the holidays, and it'sa3 hour time difference which isn't so bad. Lately, I've been falling asleep around 9 or 10pm, and waking up between 2 and 3am. I'll end up staying up until 9 or 10pm again. My sleeping habits are so screwed, if I don't fix this by the time I get back to base, FML.
