The new Doctor

As like when Smith came on to the scene, I know little to nothing about this actor, but will be open and give him a chance. Even though Tennant is my favorite, Matt Smith's time was amazing and I'm sad to see it being time for a change. Capaldi is noticably older and is said to be the oldest actor to play the Doc since William Hartnell started the legacy. I do see something in him and trust the show's creators' choice and will see where the show goes with this new Doctor.

Nope only the first 2 since the BBC had a policy to re-use filming tape or to throw out old material at the time. After all I believe rationing was still in effect at the time despite the war being over we still had to ensure food supplies were ample and materials were put to good use

I really know nothing about him besides what I've seen of him in The Fires of Pompeii. He is definitely a lot older than the previous incarnations in the newer series, which will probably drive a lot of the viewers who have only seem them away. However, since I know next to nothing about him, it means he gets a totally clean slate and can go either way. I didn't like Matt Smith much at first because I didn't know him, but he grew on me, even if David Tennant is still my favorite so far. I'm hoping this guy will do the same. :3
