Aw man i used to love this show to death. I think its really old and it only had a like5-7 episodes.But it was still really good. Played it on adult swim until Durara came along.

They've been playing it on Adult Swim at least once per year since 2003/2004. AS has regularly refered to it as the best show they've ever aired.

FLCL is my favorite anime, and (in my opinion), the best coming of age story ever told. A kid hitting puberty, discovering girls, and becoming an adult told through the symbolism of robots, baseball, guitars, and aliens? The three greatest albums by one of the best bands of the 90s for the soundtrack? The direction is as close to perfect as perfect can be, and the script never once gets lazy.

Definitely a favorite of mine, such a good soundtrack accompanied by a fantastic, as Gja said, coming of age story.
Not to mention how f'ing hilarious it was.
