So I played the free DLC I mentioned a few weeks back...
Yeah, Free DLC FTW! Nice expansion of the game.

e.e You kids and your free DLC.
Btb, I just glitched the game to never ever give me any more solar strikes during that playthrough. Ever. I disapprove of this severely, because I now have no laughter in this game when it comes to destroying the faces off of people.
Someone come fix my game.

I found a mega glitch up in the town where the supermutants live (not sure if it was the game it's self, or my xbox getting ready to rest in peace), but it started giving everything this green tint. Which was pretty cool at first because it looked like fallout 3, HAHA, but it wasn't right, and I couldn't fix it D:
The Brighter the Light the Darker the Shadow
That's awesomewrong. I think my favorite glitch is the "you can't see anything because the game wants to spaz out with it's texture/mesh/image load". It happens often, but you can only see it at certain camera angles. Another favorite glitch is the Miguel's Pawn Shop door glitch.
I <3 problems.

Some locations are tinted though.
Horribly-irradiated-ville is shrouded in a green mist.
The-area-with-a-minefield-between-a-caesar's-and-a-NCR-base is brown and almost monochrome, like an old photo.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Kinda old news, but the new DLC is almost going to release...hopefully I can get that one for free as well. xD

Honest Hearts adds the weather that I've always wanted, and a bunch of guns and perks that make me cry. Too bad I'm poor right now. ;_;

And it got pushed back due to PSN Store being down, even though PSN will be up.
Xbox LIVE and PC/Steam Users can still get it on time. =3

The one thing that ruined this game for me for beginning stuff is the New Vegas Clinic Run. I. Hate. It. Yet I can't stop, cause I need me some powerful stuff that I should get later.
The new patch makes NCR actually better, and it makes certain guns actually viable for use. It's awesome. I kinda wish though that they would have changed Mercy so it would use 25mm, not 40mm. Thump-Thump becomes useless once I get it. v.v;

And a vastly better story, NPCs that have personality rather than being mindless vending machines for fetch quests, a less procedurally generated feel, and in general being better in most ways conceivable.
Graphics and interface are the same, but that's about all that is.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Yeah, but it still falls flat in the area I pick these kinds of games up for which is exploration. There's really no reason to explore in Vegas outside of seeing the views.
Bumpeth.
Post builds so I can laugh at them, then cry at how much I'd like to use them. Seriously, I'm making builds revolving around the Assassin Suit, 1st Recon Beret and Automatic Rifle (Holorifle if I use Energy Weapons, Bear Death/ Knife Spear for up close.) It's sickening how quick I want to get those weapons. So much so that I just start that DLC at around 16 or so.
I am serious about posting builds. I'd like to play something else other that the few I take from the guide, or the two I make up. Also the names.

I've been casually playing this again. I'm level 7 now. Playing on hard, hardcore. Man this game is unforgiving. Stray into the wrong area and it's game over. Like instantly. 30 nightstalkers spray out of a cave and chew on your face. Or a giant radscorpion zooms at you at mach 4. If you're lucky, you can throw down 5 land mines and make it mad (and maybe even cripple one of it's legs), so that you can try to backpedal while emptying every single gun you own at it, hoping that you get a lot of critical hits and kill it.
So in other words, you picked the game up expecting a Bethesda game (procedurally generated doodad collection game), but got a Fallout game (RPG instructing you to solve a fairly vague problem* in a large game world driven by faction diplomacy).
* The main quest in Fallout 1 as well as 2 boil down to pretty much a fetch quest, where the only help you're given is a gun/spear and the directions for the nearest town.

So there's a DLC coming out on June and then July.
And as for Honest Hearts. I like it but for me it felt really short and Zion is really empty, like there isn't a lot going on.
All in all, I like it better than Dead Money, and Dryaxx(thanks to me) and I got it for free thanks to an Xbox Live glitch. But I think they should release a GOTY version like Fallout 3 with all the DLCs.
That's why I generally write "Fallout" 3. I get the impression that they based that game off nothing more than the first half of the intro video to Fallout 1, and that nobody actually bothered to play the game.
You know, this one

I started to get into Fallout ever since the second one, I never really played the first one completely.
You're missing out. Together with Baldur's Gate 2 it's one of the crown jewels of PC RPGs. Of course it requires a level of patience and focus I don't expect people have anymore.

I know....Bioware at it's best, before it got acquired by EA and went straight downhill (Dragon Age II).
