Well I was confused in the beginning of the game, when I got my pm from Kaitou, because I thought I was playing as myself, but then he explained to me that I'm playing as some other player so I'm not as confused anymore. Kaitou seems to make you look awfully suspicious in that invasion post, that is if you are Scruffy. That would be amusing if you got your own character. XD Hmm...maybe Screwby is Scruffy, yet he's somehow he's a rebellious townie?

Pressuring people is a good thing. Switching from suspect to suspect and throwing pressure in all directions comes off as you trying too hard to appear town.

I have asked multiple players who have just joined the game for their opinions on the events so far. This point is invalid.

No one has even mentioned the role of cop in this game until this point. The fact that you brought it up, in addition to willingness to be investigated, presents the very real possibility of you being a Godfather who appears innocent to investigations.

I'm quite sorry but you are much more experienced than me, and I wasn't even aware of such a role in a game. I'm simply doing this because I want to be able to help town, so they know that I am actually a townie. Sure it's hard to believe somebody in the first day phase however, I had the exact same technique last time I played. I told the cop to check me and I was town.

The person who was declared as town in the opening post was Screwby, not I. That said, what are your reasons for suspecting him?

I sincerely doubt this. The very fact you would bring the possibility of investigation up is shady. You don't need an investigation to clear you. You should be able to make an adequate defense.

You're doing what to help town? Pressure people? You've "pressured" four people, and you dropped all pressure on three of them within a few posts.

If you were town last game, congrats. This is a whole new game.

what do you think of the game so far? Despite it being early, is there anyone you find worthy of suspicion?

I like how Ribbon was going on for so long about d_b's edit, and then suddenly dropped her case.

Then, Ribbon accused of Scruffy first, but after she learned of a mistake in her theory, she shifted her attention to Screwby instead. But I suppose this one shouldn't warrant too much scrutiny since her accusation no longer stood after it was gutted of its main reasoning.

However, she even asked the cop to investigate her, despite the fact that the cop would not be able to reveal himself/herself so early in the game, so even if the cop found her to be a wolf, the cop wouldn't be able to directly announce it to the Town.


This is what first jumped out to me when I was reading through the posts. (Scruffy pretty much did all the interrogation, though lol). Now I need to keep reading.

A very good point. No cop in their right mind would out themselves to announce someone as town. Probably not even if it were a powerful role.

A defense is only useless if you're scum. They will be found. They will die by the noose. There will be no escape for scum.

@animeyay and I both outlined the flaws of relying on a cop to clear you. Unless you want a cop to expose themselves. Which is also scummy.

Also, if he/she actually checks me out then silence would mean nothing. If I actually was a wolf, they would obviously say something for the sake of town.

I actually don't think Screwby is a wolf or townie, but an independent. I just don't see the role of Scruffy being a regular townie starting a fire, cause a townie starting a fire just doesn't seem townie, and I think it would be weird of the host to include a wolf in the post, but then say he's a townie, so I'm going to assume Screwby is an independent for now, and it's a good idea if he actually is, cause then that means he shouldn't be killed, cause independents can actually help out the town if they want to.

Oh I am competitive, but I do like getting to know my teammates and having fun in the game. Plus when I create chit chat, it makes the atmosphere feel less intense and more fun. It's just a game, meaning a game should be fun. I want everyone to have fun playing this game. Also, it's kind of hard to tell whose a wolf right now, so doesn't hurt to get to know people, cause it can help out later in the game. I'd rather use a friendly approach with figuring out things right now then immediately jumping on someone and asking them questions in their face.

@Ribbon You're playing similar to how I played last game when I was the godfather. You're shifting suspicions, throwing a vote towards the first suspicious person you see, and even asked the seer to check you because you know you'll have nothing to worry about if you're seen. and with every post you act scummier and scummier.

So your saying the cop should just be quiet when he/she actually FINDS a wolf? I do not see the logic in this.
