I would pretty much choose yahoo messenger for the same reasons, But MSN is good too.
MSN, i like the best. AIM was good but now its gotten way to bulky the skin on triton is horrible, its to big. I like MSN cause its perfect.

I like msn, mostly because of the fact that I use trillion for the others and that just annoys me. Plus I love stealing smilies from people...xD I have a collection now!
ICQ ... it allows you to leave offline messages!!
I use msn, not that I fully like it (takes up so much room on your computer, messages sometimes don't work or you get kicked off randomly, also viruses seem to be spread very easily on it). Although alot of people use it, you are given a lot of activities on it. And it allows you to talk to anyone...although...my response is very one sided considering I haven't tried another type of messenger other than yahoo (which I disliked...a lot)
I prefer Trillian, because it carries my YIM and AIM. Though, MSN refuses to work, even on Trill...thus my hatred for MSN

It depends on what version you have, but I love MSN, I've never had one single problem with it.

I prefer AIM because all my friends have it. Yahoo messagner isn't that bad I like it.

I've always used MSN. Been using it since I even knew how to instant message, and I will continue to do so. It's a very good messenger, at least ignoring the little glitches.
Yahoo is solid too, but I know very few people that use it.

I use all three (YIM/AIM/MSN) but prefer MSN because its efficient and well, easy to use.
I have all three as well, but use MSN and AIM the most. I have a strong dislike for Y!M.
I use AIM, because everyone I want to talk to uses it.

I would definitely say MSN it's pretty good on everything and I have never used yahoo so I couldn't compare it to that but compared to AIM it's really good.
the version of msn that does offline messages is actually owned by microsoft and is called Windows Live Messenger (WLM) and is part of the new "live" system they are creating... its compatible with MSN and sends/receives offline msgs where msn cant send them...

MSN. I used to like Yahoo, but there are too many bots, and YM keeps logging outI prefer talking to people that I know from the forums, instead of random people asking me "Wanna cyber?" or "ASL pls"
(PM option is off. I refuse to hear people whine.)
There's no different version of MSN ... MSN is just 1. There are only different versions of programs for MSN. And MSN as service doesn't have offline messages (you may mistaken it by emails)The version I have does.
