Well, I've been watching anime for a long time and I've known quite a lot of Japanese cultures... But I'm sure I'm still missing out a lot. Can anyone of you name out those that you know ?

Only Japanese people I've encountered have been fanatic career professionals who work 14 hours a day and have no life outside of work. :-(

Are you asking about Japanese subcultures, or the culture in general?

In general, I've found two things.

#1. It's a delightful westernized culture with a lot of things unique to itself.

#2 We are often not welcome to try those things out.
