SSB4 latest character update

Three new playable characters have just been announced at the official website:
Pac-Man
Palutena
Mii Fighters


I'm not sure what kind of attacks Pac-Man will even have (though from watching the official video for him, it appears he'll have a bunch of oldschool game graphics attacks, sort of like Mr. Game & Watch), nor do I have any clue what Mii Fighters will do, but Palutena is AWESOME! Previously, she was Pit's final-smash attack, but now is a playable character in her own right. Makes you wonder what Pit's final-smash will be in SSB4.

Actually this character update appeared just yesterday on the official SSB4 website. Maybe there was speculation/rumors/etc on other websites, but just yesterday was the first time these characters were announced (at least officially).

In two days Sakurai will reveal a new character at the upcoming Nintendo Direct.

Earlier leaks stated that Shulk from Xenoblade will be used as a character, and suprisingly all characters he named have actually been revealed at some point.
He also said the choir trio from Rhythm Heaven will be in the game. I'm curious to see wether it's true or not.

Not sure what this says, because it's in Japanese, but it appears that a chibi Miku Hatsune (or some other very similar looking green haired anime girl) may be in the game. If someone here knows Japanese I'd like to know what this says, as it appears to be from some actual Japanese game magazine (not just an online character speculation/rumor post).

That's from a popular Japanese magazine and it has nothing to do with the game itself. It's just a poll on popularity of characters in Japan.

I just saw the new characters they added. In addition to Captain Falcon, they've also added two anime characters, and I don't know where they came from. They are Robin and Lucina. And it looks like Robin has both a male and female form? I hope someone else knows who these characters are.
