Dave the Barbarian

Some years ago I used to watch the cartoon show: Dave the Barbarian. And when I say "used to watch" I really mean that I used to watch it. I watched it, and watched it and watched it and loved it so much. In fact, so much that my siblings screamed after me everytime they saw that the show on the television [how nice of them, don't you agree?]. Hahah! You should have seen me running down the stairs to get to that cartoon in time! (Couldn't let myself to miss too much!). What speed! xD

My younger sister even painted a picture of him and gave it to me, just because she knew much how I loved that show. Honestly, I actually still have that picture at my door back in my parents place, in my old childhoodroom. ~ My sister may think that I should've tossed it away years ago... But I say; NEVER!!! Dave the Barbarian is still a show that lies close to my heart. It's just one of the funniest cartoons I know of, and besides, it's kind of sentimental to me. ~ ^___^

This animated comedy series is set in the Middle Ages and follows the title character, Dave, in his comedic adventures with his family (his sisters, Candy and Fang, and his Uncle, Oswidge) as they protect themselves and their family from a world of oddball foes. Dave himself combines strength with an appreciation of the finer things in life, including origami, bird watching, and even gourmet cooking.''

I think I only watched 10 minutes of it once and that was it. Don't remember when but it didn't hold my interest but then again I just saw 10 minutes of 1 episode so I can't really judge it

May I ask why you only did watch roughly 10 minutes of the first episode?

My brothers and I loved that show! I can't remember much of it, although I can still sing the theme song.

I liked that show a lot. The humor relied on lots of abrupt shock slapstick that really meshes with my own sense of humor. I like Dave and the sisters but I always thought the rest of the cast (the old guy and the dragon) were kind of weak or annoying

Almost the same here. I really liked Dave alot - but the ones that I wasn't so found of where the littl' dragon Fuffy and the pig "The Dark Lord Chuckles". Everytime Chuckles came into the screen I just thought to myself "... no". xD Because I really didn't liked him! Hahah!

honestly cant recall a full plot from that show. I remember scenes i liked. Like one time when Dave tried a bird call and suddenly was mauled by a massive feathered thing. I laughed so hard

Okey. Do you remember that episode where Fang [the youngest sister] turned "sweet and nice"? I really loved that episode! It was so unexpected that she actually would turn out that way! xD I also liked the episode "Happy glasses". Found the episodes on youtube...
