Those are really cute! I have no crits! What program do you use?

I use Adobe Illustrator CS3, and those are the very first things I've done in there.
The one I'm working on right now is taking up a LOT of time and probably won't be done it for quite a while.

Ooooh... I love them! I particularly like the third one... plus well, I'm a Lucky Star fan so you easily won me over anyway. LOL But really, quite awesome work! I don't even know how to work Photoshop... I can do contrast, color change, crop... annnnd that's pretty much it, big kudos!

well, illustrator is a completely different program than photoshop, but i'm pretty decent in working with both programs...
the biggest difference between the two programs is that illustrator almost exclusively uses vectors for all it's images (unless you import an image, or rasterize the image) and photoshop deals with pixels (unless you're dealing with vector shapes, but you can't edit vector objects in photoshop, they must be rasterized before you can do anything other that resizing)
the main tool you use in illustrator is the Pen Tool, and in photoshop, you seldom use it unless you know how to wield it good.
i'll try to find some of my photoshop work as well... they arent nearly as impressive though, cuz most of them were just me screwing around and having fun with it lol

thanks, i didnt even notice that until now. however, that was the first thing i did in vectors, so i may have messed up on a couple other things as well (like the blush on her cheeks, the shine should be behind the hair outline, the mouth should be a line-point thinner, the eyes shouldnt have such hard corners, etc...)

Eye details can really make or break a vectors. Especially when their eyes are flashy as hell. BUT you really did a great job on Kagami's Vector. the blush looks perfect! tho, you may wanna change the thickness of outlines once in a while. Doing it all in using the same pixel thickness makes it look a bit bland.
nevertheless, Awesome job. I may even ask for some requests from you. =D

the thing about doing vectors for lucky star is... all the outlines are basically the exact same thickness anyways. i tried changing it up with the Akazukin picture a bit more. with the one i'm working on now, i'm trying to change it up a bit more as well. we'll see how that comes out in the end though
as for the requests, i'll try to do the best i can. however, i'm going to be going into production for a game pretty soon (beginning of march til the end of june), so idk how much extra time i'll have to do it with...

Rock from Black Lagoon. just a quick vector work, i started last night as a break from working on my big project right now... only took me about 6 hours to do, and i think it turned out pretty good.

it's really big though....

there is no Tokyo Akazukin anime that i know of... it's too dark, deals with too much lolicon, etc.
it IS a manga though, if you can find it.
if you can't find it and want it bad enough, PM me.

quick teaser on my latest piece.
only about 1/4 done it at this point, but it's been about 2 months in progress now. lots of things in there will be replace/fixed up at a later date, so yes, it is really messy right now.

i actually have no idea who or what AnimeRender is... :S
but the reason i make them so big is so you can see all the intricate detail in them. i tried making a 512px image, but you lost a LOT of detail, especially around her eyes and around the skirt area.
and also so that if anyone wants to use it as a desktop, they dont have to ask for a higher res image lol :P
