Real-life situations that conflict with what it can mean to be human, heart-wrenching moments that have us questioning what is really right or wrong, etc. So please, before you presume that anime is just something for children, give it its fair shot."

Mechademia; a series of critical essays with countless anime and manga references dealing with some of the most critical and intellectually mind boggling questions of our time. Unless she's going into flat out denial, she can't look at this and say that anime doesn't teach you anything.
