That being said.... Ron Paul...and when it comes down to it... Rand Paul.

I'm writing in Ron Paul as well.

It's because of people with your thinking is why we don't have a true democracy and why everyone's vote does not count. After Ross Perot in 1992, 3rd party and other potential candidates get censored from the process and show that there are no other solutions when in fact there are. Ross Perot was the beginning of showing there were other alternatives in context to the process and I feel that the politicians and the media should give everybody an equal chance.
And I choose Ron Paul because he understands the problems and has solutions that sound harsh, but yet realistic and grounded in reality. Why should I vote for someone who claims he can cut the deficit in half and yet adds trillions more? Why should I vote for someone who says he is pro-choice but now pro-life? Why should I vote for someone who says he will close Gitmo but still has it actively open? Why should I vote for someone who says he will repeal national health care when he did something not too different as a Governor of a state? That is just plain idiotic.
I will vote for someone I know truly cares about solving the issues in a realistic manner, and not appealing to their respective constituents. I refuse to vote for two socialists in capitalist clothing.
It's either Ron Paul, or I write in Steve Rogers' name.

They're all the same. To them politics is just a game, and they are in to win it (become president) regardless of what they have to do to win. They don't care about us, "we the people", unless they think that acting like they care will benefit them. And if they think that something else will help keep them in office, they'll do that instead, even if it means not helping the majority of people, or even ends up hurting the majority of people. I'm tired of politics. We need a new government that actually cares about the general population. We need another George Washington like figure to become president, so that the problems in DC can finally be fixed.

Obama, definitely. I'd rather stick with what's barely working than take my chances with Romney.
Maybe I'd like Romney more if I actually knew what he stood for.

I'm the kind of person who won't vote until he feels he has a SOLID understanding political affairs. Considering I don't know jack about any of that, I won't vote. Probably won't vote until I get out of college, seeing as I expect to take on a tough major and want to do well.
I'll only say this: anyone who is deluded enough to fall for a ridiculous belief like Mormonism isn't the kind of person I'd like to take advice from. I'm not saying that Mormonism is any more ridiculous than other religions(not true, it kind of is), but it's a close call.

Romney's religion isn't my concern. In fact, I don't care about the candidates' religious beliefs (unless it's something extremely ridiculous like Scientology). Romney just doesn't speak to my heart as a human being. When he's making speeches or answering questions, it feels too scripted and robotic. I know Obama hasn't done such a hot job, but that's no reason for me to vote for Romney.
But let's face it: our nation has never had true separation of church and state. I wonder if in my lifetime I will see a non-Christian president lol.
That's honestly one of the most interesting things I'm looking forward to seeing or not seeing. I've got a while to go (hopefully), so I suppose it's possible....I just hate how everyone assumes atheists are some immoral, devil-worshiping band of tinfoil-hat-wearing idiots.I wonder if in my lifetime I will see a non-Christian president lol.

Obama. Support of the middle class is a must for me, both have plans for that, but I go for obama for now. Like thunder said, I to have limited knowledge of politics.
I come from a Mormon town and I am far from being a Mormon, but they are the nicest people I have ever met in my life. Romney doesn't seem like the Mormons I went to school with. Hell, South Park proves even though they believe in something out of whack, at least they are nice people.
The devil you know is better then the devil you don't, so Obama.
I don't really trust Obama anymore, but I defiantly don't trust Romney.
I hate both candidates.
f'k that guy
I have spoken.

That's just rude. And also:
Obama can't help spending more money, as America spends 6% more each year, also due to inflation.
Use of force in Libya is a GOOD thing. LOOK at the place, it's being destroyed from the inside by a corrupt government and the people are begging for help. =_=
how does america spending 6% more each year justify spending more than 400% more than any other president thats come before him?
i say f'k libya. The US has its own problems to deal with before we can go help others. I'm not particularly against attacking other countries, war does pay my bills, but there are some things that need to be taken care of first. Removing Obama is at the top of those priorities, then balancing the budget, then attacking other countries.

SO far 18 Ombama
hella
Funny you should use the 'you didn't build that' thing, because that quote was taken completely out of context.
Stupid reaction images aside, what exactly is the problem with Obama as a candidate against Romney? And don't use the whole 'broken promises' thing either, seeing as the Republicans vetoed the majority of the bills he posed.
Well, i've been away from this debate for a while, but
At least Romney knows where the real issues lie, amirite?

Eh.. not being an American and all I have a question.
Why bother even having a president when the Republicians decide everything in the end?
