Anyone here ever seen the Devil Lady?
Shows like that prove anime isn't something you grow out of. Sometimes it's things you have to grow into.
If you can watch Family Guy, I can watch Jormungand.

No.. I've noticed these sort of threads are made to hear the phrase: You can never be to old so no worries. So.. No. You can never be to old. No fear.
Nonon Jakuzure - Best Kill la Kill baePretty damn great! #spoke2soonOta "The Cutest Otaku" 2016 - Lol, how's your account doing lately? Oh wait.
OH PLEASE! Like I will never get out of this addiction
It would be terribly hard. Especially if you basically grew up watching it more than American cartoons.

IDK if ill outgrow anime. I like it right now, thats all I need at the moment
No.. But then I hardly watch much modern Anime.
I've kind of outgrown it but I watch older stuff just because it's more from my time and it's nostalgic.
Possibly, but I doubt it. It's got enough adult-oriented material in certain series (not referring to hentai or ecchi even necessarily, but even just the more serious and complex themes and violence definitely) that it can keep an adult entertained just as well as a child or a teenager. It's so varied.
Besides, I'm enough of a child at heart, I'm going to be watching Pokemon and Digimon until the day I die anyways most likely, if only on occasion every once in a while. xD So even if it was all childish, I doubt it's ever going to go away.
She has no shadows, and she radiates beauty.
Slender body, and two eyes like ebony.
Her spirit's golden, and her mind's a mystery.
Will I ever get to old for anime? Prob not.
What I think will happen though, is that I just won't have time to watch it.
There was a time where I thought I was getting "too old" for it, but that was only really because others around me were calling it childish. Now I realize that I am still allowed to enjoy it regardless of what they think.
I've have slowed down as to how much I watch and what I watch, but I think I'll always have interest in it even as I get older.
No.
I go to an anime club and we have members in their 50s+. I plan to be one of them in the far-off future. That is one of my life goals.

Who knows, i generally don't really care what people think about my hobbies. So... as long as i like it, i will watch it. But considering alot of new anime are aired each year (For now, don't know about the future) + stilll having all the animes from the earlier years. I doubt ill run out of material, so it will keep refreshing itself with new content.
Will I ever get to old for anime? Personally I'll say no. I didn't grow up with a father and my mother was a gamer/otaku/comic-nerd before I was even born, so I was raised into it. It's become my life, from working on my own manga/anime, to enjoying the countless RPG forums on mans greatest creation. I can positively and whole-heartily say the chance of me out growing anime is slim to nonexistent.
I can honestly say anime has taught me more about being a man then anyone in my life has. I've learned that such small creatures like ourselves are about to push past our 'demons' and active great things. I thank anime for that everytime I watch a show like Code Geass. It's great and the messages they deliver are far more entertaining and 'real' the whats on mainstream television now. Sad yet true. I gladly let people call me immature, or a child, and thank them for it later. So....thanks anime.
I really doubt I'll ever grow out of anime. I love it too much. Maybe i'll watch it less when I get older but I'll still never feel like i'm growing out of it.
Nope as anime is intertwined into who I am, I cannot be me without anime
I think we're all too old for anime.
Doesn't mean we'll stop. it just means our kids die and we have to raise a teenager and teach them something insanely dangerous.

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

Well, i have gotten too busy for anime

I personally, will never grow out of anime. I can't see it happening anytime soon. When I watch anime, people usually say I'm a child because I'm watching something made for children. Well, they're wrong. "Oh, anime is for kids." Well, they clearly haven't seen Elfin Lied, or Mirai Nikki. Excuse me for my short rant.
No way! Anime is for everyone. From young to old and from old to young. It's the spirit that keeps burning! I don't think I'll be too old for anime. Anime has more mature and dark themes than most of the real live shows you can see out there. It's a known fact but people who don't watch it tend to judge it as something childish and perverted.
May peace bestow this world,
May our hearts unite.
Life may not be smooth as pearl,
But pray for our decisions to be always right.
Life may be hard, it's a big pain in the butt. But hey, who says behind all those pain, can't hide some happiness ?
There are two possible reasons why I stopped watching anime two years ago:
1. I outgrew it
2. Only bad anime was coming out and as I watched each new show I grew more disinterested in anime as a whole
I have such a backlog of anime to watch that if I ever get back to it, I doubt I'll ever run out.
