Ooh, I love your work... There isn't anything to critique exactly. You have the same typographic issues that I have in that you are kinda scared of it. lol. when I am doing an LP, great, I can do awesome typography. When it comes to sigs, it's a pain in the bum because it's such a small area to work with.
The dept in all your pieces is awesome. <3
I find that you can write whatever you want regardless of what it says. The problem is figuring out where to put it and what style to use. I try putting comedy in most of my sigs, so my writing needs to be very easy to read.
I purposely leave spaces that don't have very much in them to sorta reserve a spot for writing at the end.

Thanks Dark. I think I'm going to start leaving text out of signatures unless I have a reason to have any. It's not really needed anyway.

On what Kale said, it actually helps to try and incorporate the text somewhere in the middle of making the sig, rather than at the end. I don't always follow these rules myself, and try to find somewhere to stash it at the end. XD. Sigs are very FX lead and often become way too busy for any kind of text placement, so if thought about earlier, it can work better.

AAAAAAAAAAAAND another one.

you're sigs are the polar opposite of mine. lol
yours are all dark and kinda creepy looking (in a good way)
mine seem to be more bright happy and bubbly haha

eh. I don't think that applies 100% of the time. In the end, you wanna make what you think looks cool. a person who played techno can be just as happy or sad as someone who plays metal. But there are some people who use art to reflect on themselves. Edgar Allan Poe is a perfect example of such a person.
But i guess me "Rehab is for Quitters" sig does kinda reflect on me haha

my attempt at:
a) a totally new style / experiment really
b) bubbly / cute / bright / not dark and gloomy like I normally do

@Ape
I like it. Its like a middle ground between dark and bubbly. Darbles! haha
Thats really good when compared to the other ones seeing how its and entirely different direction for you. The only criticism id have toward it being bubbly is that Faith really isn't the most happy go-lucky character to use. lol

I'm digging on the retro-like look on the signature. My only suggestion giving you is having type on the righthand side that's all. What inspired you to do something like this? I know an inspired signature when I see one. :U
Ha yeah, I'm glad you noticed I went for the old, retro look. I didn't think anyone would notice or they'd think it was just poorly done :P No inspiration, Kale tried something in the art of my style so I tried something a little more colorful then what I'm used to.

I forgot how much I hate smudging. But I actually liked how this one turned out. Maybe I'll knock a few of these out occasionally, it wasn't half bad once I realized what I was doing looked pretty good with a render.

Make sure you send me your MSN or skype or something soon man. I can send you resources and grozit a lot easier that way. Hopefully this illuminated spirits resource pack gets off the ground, doesn't look like anyone is really trying to do anything with it but I'd put out some tutorials and PSD's and what not. My work may not be the best but it should help a few people.

Your signatures are phenomenal! Has anyone ever took the time to tell you that you are blessed with talent? :]
What I admire from you is that you can work out of your element and still make it look stunning.
The flowers you used are great, however the bright light grabs my attention more. It needs to be settled down. >.<
Don't make things look all too bright now, you just need to pick out where you want your light source and keep it easy.
The flowers turned out pretty low quality so that was the initial reason for the random light sources. The only reason I kept it like that was I thought, well, damn, it's in space and there is literally an innumerable amount of light sources so why not. Thanks for the kind words, I've been trying just random experimental stuff lately just to keep fresh lol.
