If you watch madoka magica and who is your favourite character?

Homura because I can relate to her. She gave up everything, including her sanity, to protect the one she loved, and with her sanity gone, she lost that very person to herself.
Also when I saw the thread was called Maduka Magica, It reminded me of this;

Its actually very good. Its starts off seeming to be another happy-go-lucky magical girl anime but takes a really unexpected turn

Madoka Magica easily became my all-time favorite anime, I find characters to be relatable in their own subtle ways (Homura and Sayaka), The dark unexpected twists and turns catch you by surprise and bring you for a ride, and puts out a few ideas that genuinely makes you think hard about them and how they relate to how we feel about ourselves and others.
Its not perfect by any means, but it deserves a watch, I'd say at least give it a chance and watch it to episode 4 or 5 where things get interesting.

Madoka Magika seems like one huge attempt to make magi girl animes more serious. And, it succeeds. An alien cat justifying murder with the entropy of the Universe is definitely thought provoking. Still, I'm seriously appalled by lolitas. If it wasn't that, maybe it would even be one of my favourites, but alas...

My favourite is Sayaka. She seemed most human.

Also my single most fave anime ever. I think Madoka is my favourite. I love her honesty, compassion and innocence, and find I can relate to her the most. I also loved Mami, because she comes across as wise and mature, but with an underlying vulnerability....

Fantastic anime series! IMO, leagues above the rest.

My favorite character would either be Homura or Sayaka. Homura because of all of her perseverance and all of the hardships that she had to overcome to achieve her goals. Sayaka because I can relate to her, unrequited love is something that I've had my fair share of as well.

Honestly, my favorite character is Sayaka! I can relate to what she went through with Kyosuke ( just with less insanity in it ), plus I absolutely adore her witch!
Madokami, of course, is a very close second ~
