Yeah, my friends who read the manga of SDK said the anime version was horrible so I'm going to check out the manga to see if it really is better.

I find the Major Kusanagi sexy but I don't view her as a woman. I view her as a soldier. She actually gets pissed at Batou when he calls her by her real name. Indicating she does not view herself as a woman as well but a soldier.

Yeah-she only lets her girl pals do that.
Being a cyborg is convenient for the line of work they are in, but it sucks for other reasons-she can never have sex or have children. She can't live a normal life.
If she wanted a job doing something else by a cyborg would cause problems.
She couldn't go to work elsewhere dressing the way she usually dresses.

The dubbed version of Demon City Shujenko. The accents on some of those characters...
Most of the "half hour commercial for this game" genre of anime. Pokemon and Yugi-oh are the best known examples, but there's even worse offenders. That one with the CGI dinosaurs, I couldn't even finish the pilot episode.
A somewhat ecchi anime called Those Who Hunt Elves. Every elf who actually has the tattoo is desperate to get rid of it, so why can't they just ask them about it?
