Battletoads and Contra, those were 2 bad *** games I miss playing, there are time I wish alot of these classic games would be released onto the current systems

I forget where but I think there are some legal emulators out there.

I mean normally playing an emulated game on your computer is illegal (unless you actually own the game I think). However I think there are some on demand sights that don't let you download, playing through a web interface instead, and I think they have some deal with Nintendo.


It's been a while. I used one to finally play romance of the three kingdoms properly now that I'm old enough to understand it.

At which point I came to the conclusion that it's combat system is brutally slow and it just isn't fun once you're in battles, even if you're winning.

i know, I was kidding. I know some of the older games . . . but I'm too young to know too many. ^^ a game I remember playing is:
Centipede.
I don't know how old it is, but it was on the computer when I was like . . . 2. I got the high score XP
oh yea, then on this floppy disk (wow, do people use those?) there was a game called *Monkey Island*. I don't really remember it, but it used to be my mom's I think . . .

I was born in 1980 and most of these games that came out in the late 70's and early 80's were the biggest thing, if anything I miss some of the arcade games they made from Tron, when I living in Hayward Ca as a kid there was an arcade that I was taken to and it had the best games ever, sadly I can't remeber the name of the place since I was 5 at the time

Has anyone made a USB NES controller to go with that? (oh my, they exist!) Or maybe a computer that you have to cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to get it working? hmhmhm
